The hotel is very comfortable and clean, perfect for family. Just a warning on the chandler restaurant host’s incompetence, poor management and will make your family wait for no reason or less than 50% occupied tables.

Dog feces in the back parking lot. Do not enforce
regulations such as young children in the
exercise room and hot tubs.
Bathroom and shower not equipped as well as other similarly priced hotels.

This is really one of the most beautiful places to stay in San Diego county right on the water.
The spa is lovely, and the rooms are very nice.
It's time for a refresh and update of the furniture, specifically the desk and dresser spaces.
We love the chrome cast option on the television.
There's nothing like a sunset from the balcony of a Cape Rey oceans view third floor room!
Chandler's needs so much improvement. The food is quite delicious, but some of the old school servers have an attitude that is offputting. The front of house managers are divine! They have made every effort to improve the morale. However, you can still sense the Ness and lack of welcome from those servers.
I got to speak with a lovely host in the restaurant and she was sweet and welcoming. We need more of that!
This is both a wonderful place to visit as a couple on retreat and a wonderful place to bring children.
The gym is fantastic!
Clean, well-maintained and Kermode.
There's a sense of overwhelmed at the valet, as the valet park for tips. It doesn't feel organic.
Regardless, Cape Rey is a place that we frequent. We love it!

What an awesome week at Cape Rey! I reserved the room through Expedia, and didn’t know where my room would be. I was offered a reasonable upgrade to an ocean view balcony room, which my family absolutely loved. The grounds are beautiful, area seemed very safe. Hotel was clean and everyone was very friendly, Great experience!

My family planned a last-minute staycation and we feel so fortunate to have found this gem of a resort. Our senior dog travels everywhere with us and finding a location that welcomes her isn't always easy. We will come back soon and often.

Great place for a quick weekend getaway. Plan to eat elsewhere, the food was not very good. The pool is nice with the kids and the room was clean.

I’ve stayed at Cape Rey Hilton, many times previously.
I appreciate the lovely pool and the gym. The valet, door staff great.
Their restaurant Chandlers is the only choice for a variety of good food.
However, I am extremely disappointed in the sub par room the front desk girl DEBA after requesting rooms close to each other, (she put my son with an injured knee in room 2083 on the other end of a long walk from my room. 2041) also without much consideration of any kind of accessibility
His room resembles a dark basement suite. Little light, tiny half window above. I imagined when I walked in what a jail looks like Over top the roof, obviously a room that they couldn’t sell to anyone else.
I and my family, normally am treated very well, no welcome gift, (though I understand I may have booked on Expedia this time) perhaps didn’t seem worthy, however I am a Hilton Honors member.
Obviously to me I believe she DEBA, made an assumption on perhaps on our race, economic status, as we drove in from Disneyland tired, and tattered,Not worthy of even a regular standard service or room!
While I stood next to another guest checking in a W-man, stating “ oh I’ve never stayed here before the girl attending to him was friendly, polite and offered him a free upgrade as she stated they had more rooms available that now kids and families have returned to school. My room was okay clean but not what I’ve previously stayed in over the years here at Cape Rey. LSS take your $ elsewhere
