Hilton Garden Inn Victorville

I stayed with my family there for three nights first night noisy people above us second night couldn’t get into our new room that they changed for us and it had a clear plastic bag over the fire alarm that could’ve not went off if there was an actual fire in the hotel itself Horribly and unsafe and The night right before we were leaving the air conditioning went out and it was hot and disgusting all night long and the rooms were filthy. Never go to this hotel.

This is the second time we stayed at the same hotel for Christmas to visit family. Once again my complaints are the same, the pillows are very uncomfortable and the shower is horrible. I rented two rooms and one of the showers was spraying all over the place. (437) A small investment in replacing the shower heads with handheld showers would make a huge difference. The staff was super friendly. That was a plus.

The staff was very nice and so was the lobby. Once you got on the elevator you felt extremely unsafe. We were on the 3rd floor and when you walked down the halls it felt and sounded like you were going to fall through the floor. The beds were terrible, it felt like you were sleeping on a deflated air mattress. Multiple people in my family were staying there for. Family reunion and they all had the same issues plus their own.

My room was clean and quiet, but walking down the hall at 1:30 AM to check on my vehicle (yes, I'm paranoid), I passed a room where the guests were playing a radio at full-blast with their wailing infant in the background. I felt sorry for whomever got stuck in those adjoining rooms.

We’ve been staying at this property for years, sometimes as much as three and four times in a month due to a family member living in the area… the property in general has always been clean beds comfortable and felt safe with no major issues… we’ve always recommended this property, other friends and family up until the last two stays… both times we stayed at this property over the last couple of weeks we’ve been woken up to the smell of marijuana in our room and heavy in the hallways near the room we were staying in… both times we reported it to management and I explained to them that they need to figure out someway to enforce this law that does not allow marijuana being smoked in a public place or public hotel… both times I’ve asked for security and it’s very obvious what rooms the marijuana smell is coming from but it doesn’t seem to resolve the situation… I would suggest the owners of the property speak to the lawyers and find out details for ways to regulate this for future guests… I personally don’t understand the need to smoke the stinky crap maybe they should designated smoking area outside somewhere maybe that will help!

Overall the stay was great. Check in was easy & fast. Room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping does not bother you over and over. It was quiet, didn't have to worry about my car in the parking lot. I had no problem with the price. Was worth every penny to know you are getting a clean, comfortable, quiet room. The only thing I would have liked to see was at least a continental breakfast or something. Not trying to sound cheap, but $30.00 for breakfast for 3 was a bit high for me. Especially since it cost me $250.00 for 2 nights. Donuts or cereal would have been nice for kids.
