Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo

I have a medically complex child who has frequent hospital stays. Usually in the Bay Area. I book hotels often during these stays. We ended up at UCDAVIS this time and I found this hotel to be close to the hospital. Considering the price was mid range I knew what to expect. However, this hotel exceeded all my expectations! The location was nice. The front desk staff was friendly and check in was smooth. The room was more on the smaller side BUT I was only here to sleep/shower. It was just me and my child but could have slept several people with its pull out bed. It was very clean. Even the soap provided was of good quality(I usually use my own) The bed was amazingly comfortable! There was even a sound machine in the room to help us dose off. We didn't watch much TV but there was an array of options, including Netflix and Amazon prime video available. WiFi worked with no issues. Now let me get to my favorite part, breakfast! I never expect too much from hotel breakfasts but spend so much at the hospitals cafeterias, so I like to save where I can. They have made to order breakfasts. Including STARBUCKS. I'm used to the serve your own set ups at hotels. The food was amazing!! I felt like we were at a restaurant. Great way to start our day before heading back to the hospital. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at in the last few years, this is the first review I've left! Only issue was the ice machine was out of order but the front desk provided ice for us upon request!

This was convenient for our needs, family close by. Good food on site, and good outdoor space.

The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Easy check in process. Hotel is family friendly and conveniently located. Will choose Courtyard in the future.

Property was well kept. Very clean. Rooms not up to date but very clean. Very quiet . Fun for kids as well

Went with my family (I have 2 under 2) and it was the best decision of my trip my wife loved it and the kids beds were actual queen size and soft air was cold pool was close by and main lobby has a bistro and bar after 5pm parking was only $10 place was worth it.

Summer time and kids want to be in the water. Pool was freezing and the hot tub was overly heated. People getting high in the pool area made it not so kid friendly. We decided to just sleep here. Left the premises to sightsee instead of enjoying the hotel.

Great choice for families or business travelers

Nice and quiet the food was very good. The Staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family
