Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rancho Mirage, an IHG Hotel

The pool was dirty and my husband had to use the net to clean out before we let our grandchildren inside. The bottom of the pool looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in a while. The outdoor furniture is old and worn out making the furniture look gross. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast served was good and dininigvaewa clean.

This is a very clean and quiet property. It was perfect for my family.

The staff and their willingness to offer service was outstanding. We had to leave early due to a death in the family and they were very helpful in canceling and refunding the unused night. Thank you!

Excellent room layout for traveling with young children. Very comfortable and clean.

Stayed 2 nights to visit family and play golf. It was close to restaurants and shopping. Near our family.

I arrived in the lobby about 11 pm. No one was there to check me in, so I called a number left on a Post-it note. Someone showed up 5 minutes later. The complimentary breakfast was typical for American hotels. The breakfast dining room and self-serving area were clean & pleasant. But the scrambled eggs or facsimile were tasteless, and although the sausage patties had some flavor, they were a bit rubbery. I passed on the tissue thin bacon. When booking a room at a typical US hotel, I find it's best to choose a hotel rate that does NOT include breakfast. Avoid the extra charge and go out for breakfast. Youll usually find better food, and you won't have to wait in line behind the mindless masses or deal with unruly children racing through the ding room and self-serve area. It may cost a bit more, but its worth it.

Hotel is nice and modern. The breakfast was great for kids. There were several options and enough seating for everyone. I felt the carpet could have been cleaner and the pillows were awful. It served the purpose. We needed a place to sleep and decent breakfast. The pool at night was also fun for the kids. I would stay there again.
