Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Oroville Lake, an IHG Hotel

We love the indoor pool for the kids! They were so excited. They also love making their own pancake in the morning! Unfortunately, we had an ant problem on the 3rd floor! Go figure! The management gave us a discount though. Very understanding and accommodating!

Everytime we have stayed here, the service has been great. The hotels loby and breakfast area are neat and clean. The hotel rooms are always clean and neat.The pool is one of the reasons we stay here. The kids love being able to swim in the winter and the pool area is nice and large.

Good for families.

My family and I came from WA for my daughter's baby shower. When we arrived, everything went smoothly. Check-in was good, and the staff was very polite when we arrived. We drove almost 12hrs so we were very exhausted. When it came time to get my nieces to lie down, we went to turn the TV on, and it wouldn't turn on. Before calling the front desk, I tried everything. When we called down, the gentleman seemed as if it was a huge inconvenience that he came up and checked it out for us. He said he couldn't do anything about it. Then my niece was upset, talking crap, and didn't realize the phone didn't hang up. Well, I guess it worked because he was up within 5 minutes. He looked at it briefly and said, Sorry, I don't know why it won't turn on and started to walk to the door. I said That's not good enough. We have two kids here who want to watch cartoons before bed. He said I can only give you a discount or change rooms. I was super frustrated because, again, it was my daughter's baby shower, so we had many gifts and our belongings. I didn't want to pack everything back up. We decided to move rooms. He came up and gave us our new room key. He gave us a suite, which was a significant upgrade. I was very appreciative and even went down and thanked him. He said yah no problem. It's for the inconvenience, and no one ever rents that room anyway. The room felt dirty. The A/C unit was leaking water, the shower was dirty. I won't stay there again

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. We were in town for a family gathering and the lobby - dining area provided a good meeting place for families to converge. There was a Sonic restaurant next door and the young ones were able to take a late evening jaunt for dessert. It met all of our needs very nicely.

The staff was friendly, the check in process was really smooth. The breakfast was pretty decent, we went to Oroville for our daughters gymnastics meet, so we didn't have to run looking for a place to eat. We all had breakfast right there which was very convenient. The hotel had an indoor heated pool (kind of small) but great for to the kids and a hot tub too, they closed at 10p.m. so our girls enjoyed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we have to come back to the area.

Staff was ver friendly/helpful. Other guests were VERY noisy — I suggest that you don’t put couples near high school or college kids!!! Had trouble sleeping (which was the point of getting a room!)

We were visiting family for Christmas . We have stayed here in the past. The Hotel is clean, quiet, and felt calm and safe. Appreciate that you do not use single use plastic bottles for shampoo etc.Thank you!
