Hampton Inn & Suites Chico

Great stay - the Hampton Inn is a dependable brand, we have found, and have stayed in many nationwide. Their beds are good too and a decent bed (mattress, bedding) is really central to a good hotel stay — in my book, anyway; the Hampton Inn comes through. My wife stayed here with a toddler this visit, who loved all the cabinets and drawers in the room, and put a toy/clothes in each place, so the next guest *might* find a plastic purple unicorn in the dresser (maybe?) Staff is courteous and professional. There is also a pool, and it is not far from 99 with a bunch of restaurants (with a variety of cuisines, including diners, chains, Mexican and taco trucks, sushi, Chinese, and more) nearby (driving distance), so I’d call it a solid choice for the weary traveler - or anyone visiting (we were seeing family).

I absolutely love staying at this property!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I was able to request a room on the first floor and early check-in. We were coming from out of town and got there earlier than expected. It was such an amazing time with family. I will be back soon. They have a good variety of breakfast and to-go bags if needed. Even gave my daughter a cup of milk at midnight, from the kitchen. I can't say enough good things about the employees or our room.

This is hotel is completely new, we were greeted by Luke and he was great to have both of our rooms closer since our kids were traveling with us. The breakfast was good, clean areas and overall great experience!

So very happy with our choice to stay at the Hampton Inn. We were greeted by Luke with fresh baked cookies and a warm welcome. Our room was very nice, but our neighbors were quite noisy so when we mentioned this to the front desk we we were surprised with an upgrade. Both rooms were very nice. The upgraded room was very quiet. The place was very clean and all of the staff were friendly, warm, and helpful. I must say we really appreciated Luke at the front desk. He greeted us each time we passed through the lobby. We chatted with him and felt very comfortable, like a family friend. When the other front desk staff were working they were also very pleasant and warm, but Luke just really stood out to us. No doubt when we come back to Chico we won’t hesitate to book here again and again.

Definitely a great property! Had the whole family there for a work trip and it turned out great!
