It was ok- person when I check in asked for my Marriott bonvoy account number and when I asked her to look it up through my email, she claimed there was no number with that email. Well, she was wrong and didn’t even try to enter my email twice. Rooms are ok, outdated. I prepaid for 2 breakfasts however the kids breakfast was half the price of an adult breakfast, so I think they should have refunded the difference. Parking was $42 a night- it was all Just ok- I won’t stay here again.

Marriott is my go to hotel chain. This location has beautiful views, our room was specifically the Bayview suite. I would just recommend that if you are going to go out on the balcony with a toddler, that you make sure to really watch them. I would recommend staying here!

Last minute trip to So Cal and we didn't know if the adult kids would show up or not. We booked the two room suite and it was perfect for kids coming and going! Location is central to everything without the beachfront prices. We would definitely stay again with or without the kids. Very prompt service for extra towels and a blanket. Only suggestion…coffee at 6 instead of 6:30. I’m an early bird and need my wake up brew!

Every year I stay at this hotel for the Newport jazz festival and the minute I check in I ask for Eddie he takes up my bags and gets me ice or anything else I need he is absolutely the best staff there , I could stay elsewhere but he’s the reason I check in at the Marriott also the other staff so nice and I love the food at vista kitchen everything is delicious plus out door dinning by the fire pits and the bay view .I’ll definitely be back during summer with my whole family .If you’re in Newport Beach definitely check in here it’s amazing.

Bathroom shower door didn't close and wallpaper was old and peeling off wall in bathroom. Refrigerator needs to be larger for family needs. Curtains in bedroom did not close fully, so could offer not full privacy. Carpeting in hallways seem a little old. Need to have safe in room for guests

Beautiful view from the pool. Very nice area for kids to play. The hotel has lots of water toys for the pool. The food was great! The staff was very nice and accommodating. I look forwarding to staying again.
