We booked this hotel for a family trip, hoping to celebrate our 19th anniversary while enjoying some quality time together. As business owners with busy schedules, we were looking forward to a relaxing stay. However, our experience was less than ideal. The check-in process was frustrating. We requested a room with a decent view in honor of our anniversary, but were given what seemed to be the worst room at the resort—right on top of the garage with a view of the street. When we asked to change rooms, we were told it would cost an additional $50 per night and that the only available option had a king-size bed and a rollaway. We reluctantly agreed, but upon seeing the room, we felt unwelcome. Paying $600 per night and having to sleep on a rollaway bed was not what we had in mind. Adding to our frustration, the shower head in the room was broken. At this point, we decided it wasn’t worth staying at a resort where service seemed to be an afterthought. We contacted hotels.com to cancel the booking, and while their customer service rep tried to help, nothing changed until the hotel manager, Jack, got involved. He was the only person who genuinely cared about our situation, and I truly appreciate his hospitality. He provided us with a better room and kindly asked us to stay, which we did. Overall, the hotel has a great location, but I can only give it 3 stars for the service. It wasn’t about the cost; it was about level of service we received for the price we paid.

This property itself was beautiful and the staff was really nice at every interaction. If half ratings were allowed we’d give this place 3.5/5 for overall value. activities and restaurant options inside the property were limited. It was a bummer to not have an area to walk near the water when that’s probably this resort’s best selling feature is being on the water. So if you are not a resident or member, just know there’s no walking path for you. Their A&O restaurant is lovely but that was the only option. The rooms were very clean but nothing stood out. It also may have been my mistake to filter out but we were not expecting the noise level to be so high due to kids running up and down the hallways. Overall not the best fit for us, but a lovely property for families.

The manager and front desk staff were incredibly unfriendly. The amenities were sub par as the bed had a sink hole in the middle. We went to purchase a $15 bottle of Prosecco and they were charging $45, they held my best friends wedding and didn’t even acknowledge them. It was honestly the very worst experience I have ever had and we will never stay there again. The hostess at the restaurant was so rude as well it was sad. Stay at the pelican or ritz for a true 5 star experience. My family and I truly were devastated and leaving hasn’t ever felt so good! Housekeeping though, extremely kind!

Amazing stay- great service! The front desk manager went out of his way to find us the perfect room, even though they were fully sold out. We loved our stay and always come back whenever we visit family in the area. The rooms, are elegant and super comfortable, the setting is serene and the service is 5 star!

Noisy hotel, can hear other guests through closed doors. Mattresses uncomfortable/lumpy. Pool didn’t seem heated, and kids/dogs allowed in hot tub area. Staff, housekeeping and valet were very friendly though.

Great Hotel but very noisy. By day there were a lot of kids running around and at night it turned into a nightclub. Not the place to go if you want a quiet, romantic stay, but fun if you're into a party atmosphere and people watching. In geneeral staff were great but our dinner service at A & O restaurant was under par. I think we were actually forgotten for at least 25 minutes.

1. every time we come in it takes a very long time to check in. 2. the room wasn't available even tho we arrived at 5:30 and check in time was 4 pm 3. the room did not have any towels and when we arrived there was a lady still disinfecting the room. 4. the room was courtyard view and the room was very stuffy. so we opened the door and there were kids screaming (i mean literally screaming ) for hours echoing through the door into our room. I called the front desk to have someone tell them to quite down and that was never inforced. We come there to get away and not listen to screaming kids. And they weren't just playing, we be fine with that, they were obnoxious !!!! 5. There were No snacks in the room. You are a resort and covid is over, you should consider having some convenience snacks, drinks, etc... in the rooms if you are charging $500-800/ night for people to stay there !!!!j 6. The mattress and the pillows were so uncomfortable that my girlfriend and I both had neck cramps in the morning. Terrible experience all around

This hotel was fantastic! My family Was in from NY and we decided to spend the night for my birthday! It was perfect, the staff was amazing, the location was perfect for sunset drinks, and the restaurants had quality food. They accommodated all ages from 79-30, but the best part was how wonderful they were with my dog!! There even was a gift bag with everything he would need. Wonderful experience!
