Hampton Inn by Hilton Irvine Spectrum/Lake Forest

First off the bed closet to window was broke so every time you moved made noise, elevator was broken so only one for entire hotel which was bad sometimes waiting 20-30 minutes because it was to full or stoping at every floor. Also laundry was broke, for a kids baseball tournament, not good, very disappointed.

Staff were friendly and professional, requests for additional items were brought to our room instantly. Rooms and property were very clean and modern. Breakfast (free) was very good, with different egg and meat options each day. The restaurant menu had a great variety and the food was 5 star worthy at a decent price. The only negatives were the coffee maker in the room (flimsy one-cup coffee pouch machine, weak coffee), and the location of the lotion bottle attached to the bathroom wall; it blocked the light switch. The light switch appeared to be an automatic one with motion, but thank goodness we had to press it to turn it on, otherwise the light would have woken up family if someone needed to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

This is always our go to hotel when staying in the area. It is super clean, quiet and a great location to accessing the freeway. Staff was friendly while checking in and out. The breakfast is the best I’ve had for a hotel. They have omelets, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles and more. The pool is clean and never a lot of people there so my kids love it. GREAT hotel!

We stayed during Father’s Day weekend and we had room 450. The room was nice because it was a corner room and windows were on both sides of wall so the view was cool. However, the beds were hard and every time you moved they would create a creek noise that made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Also one of the duvets had make up on the corner so it makes me believe they were not washed. Lastly, the breakfast was not kid friendly, they had premade egg omelettes with bell peppers and no other egg options…most kids do not like peppers in their eggs. I do not recommend to stay if you have kiddos and if you’re looking for a comfortable stay.

We stayed here during a volleyball tournament with our family. It was great, they rooms and restrooms are clean, AC works nice and parking included! The free breakfast was a must with the kids and there was a great variety of food offered. Perfect for a family trip!

There were kids above us that were LOUD and HORRIBLE and wouldn't stop. We called the front desk 4 times before they finally did something about it. It was after 2 AM when they finally stopped the noise. It was horrible. We will NOT be staying there again. When we complained the next day we were told they were sorry, but nothing else about stopping it or anything to make it better. NOT happy. Would NOT recommend this place if you want quite nights rest. They have groups of kids coming all the time and the kids do not seem to be well behaved. We have stayed at many hotels and this was by far the noisiest by far. There was no reason for it to continue until after 2 AM

Great hotel for our family with kids. Breakfast was really good. A lot of options for picky eaters. Pool was clean and fun. The hotel is new and was a great property. Staff was friendly. Our new favorite when staying in Laguna.

Highly recommend this property. We absolutely loved it. We slept so comfortable my kids enjoyed the hotel as much as we did.

Many basketball teams stayed at the property and were rowdy. The pool was filthy, lots of trash, and glasses left in the pool area. I was surprised, they allow glass in the pool area. At night you can hear kids running up and down the hall. Above us as well, you can hear kids jumping, and screaming. I notified the staff to see what was going on, on the floor above us. It took 3 calls and a phone call to the police department to get it under control. The noise started at 9:30 p.m. and ended around 1 a.m. So my family and I did not get much rest.
