The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel

Pros: Close to beach/activities for kids. Cons: Lots of fees with this property. When booking on Hotels.com, when says includes fees & taxes, it was not all fees/taxes. We did a 6 night stay there-there was a $40 per day resort fee, plus $7 in other fees-so approx. an additional $50 pr day. They only offer valet parking, so $50 per night for that. That was an additional $600 for our stay. You receive two additional wrist bands if you would like guests to visit you for the day - we had lots of family in CA, which is why we stayed there. Visitors for the day pay $30 for the day to park. If you have more than 2 visitors spending the day with you on property, it is $130 per person for a day pass. You don't need a wrist band to eat at either the 2 restaurants on property, so if someone is just coming to have a meal with you, they can have their parking validated & it will cost $10 to park. There is a locked entrance to both of the pool areas that are manned who checks the bands to enter. There were many times when they ran out of pool towels & if you wanted to get one for the kids or someone else, that person had to physically be present at the attendant. Many people were saving pool lounges & if it was saved for more than an hour & people just arriving could not find a chair, security would just come & move all your stuff to 1 chair. The deck around pool very slick. 1 child slipped,fell & hit his head & medical staff were called. We are Hilton honors members-would not stay again.

Overall the hotel was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were so nice and roomy! The food in Cabo Wabo and Henri's was 5 STAR with exceptional food and service all the way around. The ease of beach rental equipment made it a joy to go to the beach. It's very family friendly as well! Exceptional housekeeping service and bellmen as well. Super nice and clean pools as well!

This was the first time staying here. We usually choose budget friendly places, but wanted an on- the- beach experience. It was everything I'd hoped for. We walked to the beach, hung out by the pool, ate at the Surf Hero Cafe, and watched movies in the room. It was a great family vacation.

Valet was awesome! Quick, efficient and service with a smile! We were there for a little over a week and each time we were coming/going valet was great!! Daily housekeeping and cleaning was such a treat! Shout out to Veronica!! Our family loves staying here! Pool is such a treat!

Second time staying here the last 2 months because we like it so much! Great for a family!

We expected a busy weekend at the facility due to Fathers Day. While the hotel is amazing with various restaurants and amenities, we were disappointed in the service area in the pool area where Cabo Wabo and the family slide is. We purchased a day bed for the remainder of the evening which we thought included a server to take our food and drinks. After flagging down several servers for assistance and requesting a manager due to over an hour wait for service we left. We noticed when we would ask a staff member for assistance they ignored our requests and continued doing other things or couldn’t provide us with an answer. Aside from the pool area, everyone was welcoming and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel with our two granddaughters. We had a Suite room, plenty of room for 4 of us. The beds and pillows were really comfy. We were at the pool all day. They had two waterslides. The kids had so much fun. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The room was an ocean view with balcony and we were there for 7 days. This was our first time staying at this hotel. BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF HB. The room was good - but it needed a microwave. We often had food leftover from restaurants with no way to heat it up. Everything in the hotel was Very Clean and well kept. Pools were wonderful. The parking was my only complaint - $50 per day to valet was an unexpected expense - Maybe I missed it in the fine print but it would have been nice to know when I booked the room that we would incur an additional $350 on top of the room for parking. All in All it was a Great Vacation for my family.

Great resort for family vacation. Only cons were the high valet cost and uncomfortable mattress. Also the crib (pack n play) was not clean. Other than that the resort is very clean and staff is friendly.

Love the location, as well as the pool for the kids. Our room was a spacious suite and was plenty of room for our family of 7. Will definitely come again.
