The hotel was about what I expected for the area. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay. Waffles, cereal ect. Two issues I had. I booked 2 rooms at the same time for ourselves and my daughter and her family. Both under the same credit card. They endedbup.putting us at different ends of the hallway. Thecreason they gavevus was they don't assign rooms until we arrive. It was just like the commercial where the hotel booked the kids rooms across the courtyard from their parents. The other issue was during our showers the temperature of water would change frequently. We stayed 3 nights. By day 2 we discovered when thevwater pressure would change to step out of the flow to see if was going to be hottter or colder. Just had to wait a minute or so until it changes back to the temperature you set. This would occur multiple times per shower.

Old and outdated but the service was fantastic. We needed hot water but there was no kettle in the room. The front desk offered to get us a few cup from their employee’s water dispenser. Breakfast ladies was also very friendly to our kids. Overall, comfortable and clean.

The stay was mostly great. Very clean and cozy. We loved the pool and breakfast. It was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge in our room, so helpful with kids. However, the front desk could be a lil more friendly and professional. Maybe they could put a smile on their faces when they greet guests as they approach the desk, instead of being on their phones or looking bothered. And maybe the hotel could provide a nice uniform for the front desk employees to wear instead of them wearing street clothes to work. Just a thought…

This property was rated more highly on Expedia than I think it warranted. We were very surprised that they allow smoking on property. Half of the second floor has smoking designated rooms and as you know the smell of smoke doesn't stay contained. They were good about locating us as far away as possible on the fourth floor since smoke is a migraine and allergy trigger for members of our family. The clientele and staff were friendly & helpful. There was plenty of parking. The location was convenient for us as we were apartment hunting for our Fullerton College bound kid and visiting from Nor Cal. The rooms were decently cleaned, although it you are very particular, there were nooks and crannies with dirt and debris. Our AC unit was quite noisy. They tried to move us, however, the new room smelled oddly of urine, so we stayed put and considered the AC unit as "white noise". There was not any street noise we were bothered by nor were the other guests unreasonably noisy. The shower was a problem in our room although not in the other room we had. It would switch between hot and cold without warming, which was unpleasant. We were disappointed with the breakfast offerings which lacked healthy balance and nutrition. The only thing my gluten and dairy free husband could eat was the hard boiled eggs. It was very carb heavy with little protein or fresh fruits except bananas and dried raisins. The price was right, we were able to get decent sleep and to do what we needed to in the area.

We arrived to check in and they didn’t have our reservation and I had to go through hoops to prove that I had a reservation. Took over an 1 hour to check in!! The property is very nice very clean two pools one pool with kids and slides the other pool for adults. There is a bar outside that we utilized. The room was a mini junior suite had kitchenette, a stove, top refrigerator, microwave sink all the dishes of where glasses, coffee cut coffee maker all the things that you need. The TV was big and we like to bring our fire stick so that was compatible thank goodness Staying for two days we decided to stay one more night. I went down to the front desk and the lady at the front desk who was not very friendly at all. We tried calling the front desk several times and nobody would even answer the phone. So I had to walk around to the registration area to book the next night, and the lady was not very friendly at all Conclusion to all this, we would stay there again because everything else was fabulous

Check in was easy and fast. The breakfast was nice and simple. Perfect for the kids to get their fill in or start the day early. Security was out in the front everytime we came back kinda late. Good to know someone is looking after property. We had a pleasant stay .

We went on a family trip, very convenient their is a Walmart, Mcdonald’s, Gas station all near by walking distance. Their is a 15-20 minute drive to closest freeway. Property and area very good.

We had a family trip to OC and stayed in Day Inn for 4 nights. The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean. This staff are very friendly and the free breakfast was pretty good. It's close to all the shopping malls.
