It was a short distance from family gatherings. It was conveniently located next to a freeway entrance. The bathroom toilet was not functioning properly. It seemed like it was clogged somewhere along the line. The bathroom sink drained very slowly. The heating system blew cold air most of the time, so we kept it turned off. The breakfast was delicious.

I love this hotel when I visit my family in Madera. The hotel itself is clean nice little pool, cozy rooms, friendly staff. The location is also conveniently right off the exit, across from a Starbucks and less than five minutes away from a shopping plaza.

The first night my kids and I went swimming, there were no pool towels so my daughter went to the front desk and she was told we could only have 3(there were four of us) It was very uncomfortable having to walk through the lobby and get to our room dripping wet. Then our microwave blew up. But the staff on the second night were very accommodating, everyone got a towel and she switched out our microwave for one that worked.

First night in the room the air conditioner stopped working. The room became a sauna and we all woke up at around 3am covered in sweat. Went downstairs to tell the front desk about our issues. They stated that the maintenance man would not be in until the next day. Was offered a new room, so we had to repack and move the family in the middle of the night. Housekeeping did not visit our room in the 3 nights we were there. We ran out of towels the 1st day we were there. We asked for new ones and were told they were not done in the laundry so we'd have to wait. The TV in the new room didn't work properly. Also, the remote was not programed to it so you had to get up and manually adjust it. The staff we did have contact with were polite and friendly.
