Hyatt Regency Long Beach

The Hyatt was great in terms of being close to major attractions in Long Beach, customer service, and offering nice discounts and perks to the nearby attractions. The room we had was a bit small, but still a great place to stay while visiting Long Beach especially with kids.

Everything was clean, family, oriented, and quiet

Family friendly and walkable to so many shopping and dining options. In room TV is huge, the kids loved it for gaming. Beautiful view of the marina. Must ask for rooms with view. Right next door to the LB Convention Center (steps away). Will definitely book this hotel again.

Lady at check Debbie in was extremely unhelpful. Arrived past midnight and received our room past 3AM. Reservation was made under my husband’s name who arrived after me. I managed to change with Expedia the name on the reservation to my name. Received instant notification via email of the name change and she still did not want to give me the room stating Expedia did not send the changes to the hotel. I contacted Expedia again and they resent the changes. She still stated she had not received it even though I was showing the email from Expedia with the reservation under my name. Traveling with kids under 5 makes the situation worst. I do not recommend the hotel. And definitely the staff and management needs better training for this type of unique situations to better accommodate guests.

Expensive but nice. Parking easy, close to shopping. I didn’t like that the door going to bathroom was glass and blurred but not enough, that was a little strange and not private, and uncomfortable with kids wondering why the door was pretty much see through. That’s the reason for 4 stars.

Our room was clean and well presented, but I paid more attention to staff. The 2 front desk attendants I dealt with were warm and personable, which I appreciate highly. My family and I will definitely book here again.

The common areas and rooms are well appointed and in great condition. The market bar and ample seating area in the lobby were great for our family which included 9 and 7 year old boys. Walkable distance to the Aquarium of the Pacific as well as several places to eat. The gym was a great diversion from the rainy weather! The smart TVs were great for the boys downloaded movies.

Best location you can get! Highly recommended for families as it is literally minutes away from shopping, parks, restaurants and attractions. The room is big and clean, you got water, ice and microwave in every floor, the staff was friendly and welcoming, there’s a restaurant and market in the lobby with everything you need! The only thing was missing for us is a bigger closet in the room as we were 3, other than that perfect!!

The beds are super comfortable that was my biggest concern but slept like a baby all night! Staff was extremely nice

Nice location. But the hotel is outdated. Dirty carpets, old nasty looking sofa in rooms, old bathrooms. No clean and fresh feel. Moremof a business hotel for in and out quickly. Wont stay there for long family time.
