Hotel Mission de Oro

It's a beautiful family friendly place. Everything was great except when i tried to upgrade the room, i was told i couldn't because i booked on an app and not directly. Very disappointed as i was willing to pay the extra fee.

BEAUTIFUL HIDDEN GEM! MUST STAY HERE !!! What a gorgeous property with genuinely lovely staff. Checking in was a breeze! Thanks for that. We appreciate it after being on the road for a while. The restaurant on-site rivals best food in any big city .. delicious and sophisticated with great executions. We got the Vodka Penne, Margarita pizza, kids speghetti & meatballs, kids NY Steak, and the chef KNOCKED IT OUTTA THE PARK. The beer selection is wonderful, the Taco Truck Lager is a winner. And the morning coffee is exactly how coffee should taste .. brilliant for your first cup. I cannot gush enough about the property from its history, architecture, spotless state and inviting gardens. The rooms are CLEAN! Well furnished, stocked with COMFY beds and plush pillows Bathrooms well stocked with superior spa shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap & lotion.. you walk out smelling like rosemary .. LOVE IT The bathroom towels are abundant and LUSCIOUSLY thick. The bathroom itself is clean and in excellent condition. Honestly, the best stay.. it’s truly a destination on its own. Go stay there.

We have stayed here multiple times because we love the mission. This time we had our 2 fur-babies with us. The hotel was very accommodating. Our room had tile floors which is excellent with dogs. Well planned! We will continue to stay at the Mission every time we travel from the Pacific Northwest to So Cal.

I’ve passed by this hotel tons of times since I was a kid. On my way to Monterey, or LA and if always see the bell tower and wondered what that was. On a couples trip with my husband to Casa The Fruita for Oktoberfest. We decided to stay here. This hotel makes you feel like it turns back the hands of time in a good way. All of the decor is so beautiful Spanish style. The food is delicious as well. You have to make time to walk around the grounds. The garden is spectacular. We tried several appetizers hands down. Our favorite was a California steak bites. Delicious pieces of steak sautéed with mushrooms and just enough hint of blue cheese, marinated with balsamic vinaigrette, fig sauce. My compliments to the chef this was amazing. Santa Nella feels like that one place that’s in between here and there but if you have to stay anywhere between here and there this is a hotel THE stay at.

WE stayed 2 nights, the pool was great for the kids, the food was fantastic, complimentary coffee/tea wonderful, Rooms excellent. I just wasn't fond of the mosquito bites. But I will stay again and for longer.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was super nice, rooms clean and beautiful hotel. Will make this my go to when I'm in town visiting my family.

This is the perfect place to stop in over night on a road trip. It’s clean, safe and has a pool for the kids to play in to get some energy out

Great hotel to enjoy with family or significant other. Will definitely come back soon.

The property was clean and staff was amazing. My only problem was my room I found a dirty mask and cigarette . My view was a parking lot that reminded me of a motel, felt sorry for those ppl. They could at least buy flowers or plants around the area. I was sad the music guy didn’t play outside. Instead they had a DJ in the bar which meant our family couldn’t enjoy music with the kids or their parents. .

I would have given a higher review but webhad no internet so we had to leave early for online work. The pool, hot tub, tennis court, weight room, and basketball hoop made it great for my kids. This is the only place we have found on I-5 to stop. Wish we had more snacks because their are no real stores nearby. The line at In and Out was ridiculous- the on site restaurant was pricey but good.
