Our stay for a long weekend was great here. While the rooms may be dated, this place more than makes up for it everywhere else. Staff is exceptional! Everything was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. Since it seems to be older, noise is going to happen. With that in mind, it wasn't bad, just would call it "kid friendly ". Excellent location. Will definitely return someday.

Pros: close to Redwoods parks, clean room, bed was comfortable (pillows are cheap and stiff), pretty quiet considering it’s close to the street. Cons: hard/stiff pillows, poor internet access (had to use my hotspot to get my kiddos iPad to work), very basic breakfast (cereal, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs), yucky coffee (only option was a single coffee machine that makes basic coffee, lattes, and other things, but not very good unfortunately).

Nice place, very spacious rooms. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. My only real issues this stay was the kids in the room above us running around and slamming their doors all evening. Then in the morning in the breakfast room it was the same. Kids running around making messes all over without any parental supervision seeming to care. Maybe just a bad day and night at the inn. Nothing of the hotels fault or much they could do, but it blows my mind the levels of absent or no rules parenting these days. Anyhow, highly recommend the hotel and will return again as it’s our go to in Crescent City.

Family of 6 in July 2024, room with three beds, comfy beds and clean. Parking lot view. Microwave, fridge, Ac/heat and windows that open. Clean room. Friendly staff. 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate machine. Walking distance to ocean. Breakfast was okay, no bacon/hot eggs/potatoes. Breads and harboiled eggs and yogurt, and juices. Great location to redwoods and tide pools. Safe area. Hotel not fancy, but just fine for a family.

Stayed here for one night as a transient hotel going to Oregon. Though old, the hotel is very clean and comfortable. We are a family of 5 & stayed on a room with multiple beds that really works for us. Room has a large granite top with sink, microwave and a small ref that really worked well with a big family of ours.

Spacious room with three beds located slightly off the main hallway made it a quiet and enjoyable stay for our family. Best hotel shower ever experienced temperature and pressure wise. Nice breakfast.

Wind was whistling through our closed window. Staff said they would take care of it but didn't. Drawers were dirty. Chairs were stained and dirty. Water pressure in shower terrible. Furniture scratched and old. Stains on sheets. Toilet was child size. Bathroom was clean. Beds were comfortable. Carpet was good.

My family and I had a great stay here on our bucket list trip to see the redwoods... wished we could've stayed longer! Room & property were clean with a friendly staff and a great continental breakfast. Thanks!

Good for the price, was in town visiting family and wanted our own space instead of staying with them. Room was clean, we were on the second floor and anytime someone was in a room above us walking or anything sounded like they might be coming through the ceiling, I’d imagine not much they could to fix that easily. No other complaints staff was good. A lot of homeless/tweakers around the area but that’s Crescent City for ya. Overall would recommend checking it out if you just need somewhere clean to sleep for a few nights.
