Waited 10 minutes to check in, was not upset as he was cooking pizza for a family. Restroom in room was unclean, trash in the receptacle toilet not flushed. The pool had bird feces all over as well as wasp. The bugs were collecting in the pool. Several of the lounge chairs were ripped and should not be put out. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast bar was great. Overall, the stay was fine. They need to double check the maintenance and cleanliness. I didn’t pay high amount for the room, so I guess I got what I paid for.

Someone messed up and booked the room we were supposed to be in. We had to wait while all that got situated, which was annoying because the kids were hungry. But we finally got another room that was supposed to be comparable. The bathroom had stucco on the floor like someone had been working on something in there. The refrigerator disintegrated work, and yes…it was plugged in. The lights on the desk flickered. The AC made some creepy loud whistle every single time it turned off. We were there 2 nights so after complaining, they did give us a nicer room the 2nd night we stayed.

Not a great part of town. On multiple days there were homeless people doing drugs by the dumpster. Not exactly where I would take my family. Expected more out of something with Hyatt in the name.

This is a ok hotel however the area is a dump. Homeless and drug use out in the open within 40 yards of door. One of the elevators made hideous noises and grinding sounds. Rooms were clean fairly recently renovated, Air conditioner was loud. Breakfast was good and better than most. I would not bring my family into this area or hotel again due to the surroundings. 3 stars is a benefit of the doubt rating based on the above. I felt bad for the staff. They were kind, professional, and well trained. This place must get visible security on property before something bad happens. Wondered about my car all night.

No matter the location, you can count on Hyatt Place to be modern, clean, and safe - inside. This location is as impeccable as every other Hyatt Place I've stayed at, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, but be warned - this particular Hyatt Place is in a rough part of town. As I walked the few hundred feet from the lobby to the nearby Circle K, I watched a drug deal happen behind the K. There's a Waffle House across the street, and it's right off the I10 highway. The hotel itself is safe and clean. Parking was well-lit, and I was not concerned about my car (much), but this is not where you take the kids on vacation, unless you're VERY alert coming and going from the premises and never leave valuables in the minivan. If you need a nice place to stay at a VERY reasonable price, and are unconcerned with the surrounding area, you won't do better than this Hyatt Place.

The hotel was easy to find, had good parking available to front door and check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean and easily accommodated two adults and two kids. We spent time in the pool and it was fine - no pool towels available. Was able to pick some up at reception. We asked for directions to the nearest drugstore and got quick and concise information. Also a recommendation for pizza that delivered. They also allowed us to eat pizza and play games all evening in the lobby. Was great space and added to our visit's success. Breakfast was good and there was something for everyone. We would definitely stay at this location again when visiting our grandkids.

We had a very comfortable stay. I traveled to Tucson with my fam, hubby two boys and my 1 yr old baby girl, for a soccer tournament. They let us check in early, awesome cuz we were dead and wanted to rest before having to go out again. Very clean room, nice pool and decent breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly too!

Overall the stay was ok but a few things were disappointing. It was not clear that the pull out sofa in our room was only a twin, so didn't have enough room for both my kids to sleep there. You could also tell that the floors were not fully mopped before our stay. It just felt a little run down. I expected more from a hotel with the Hyatt brand.
