Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona

Stayed for 6 nights recently. First, the good: service was great, A/C efficient and fantastic breakfast. We wanted a place that had a kitchen and it suited our needs perfectly. The bad: All the smaller suites face the pool area which also has several patios/grill areas. We had to listen to loud groups and screaming kids every evening while trying to relax and sleep. Stay on the outer perimeter if you can afford it! They also charge a small fortune for parking a car, and I would have booked elsewhere if I had noticed that earlier.

Very quite except between joining rooms. We stayed for a week. There was a barking dog beside us. They left and we had a child that screamed till after 10am.

We are satisfied with the hotel. The couch pull-out bed is not comfortable, not for kids who are only 50 lbs.

The property itself is placed in the middle of some gorgeous views and it also felt very modern. Nice touch to have the room so separated, with a seperate kitchen, living and then your bed and shower. I did have a huge stain of dog pee next to my side of the bed and I didn't bring a dog. Closet door was also locked? So I couldn't hang any of my nice entire. And the fan is really loud when it turns on so hopefully you aren't a light sleeper. All in all, the best service came from the chefs making the food in the morning. They have a set menu but a family wanted waffles and by the next morning, they were in the kitchen. They really tried to make you feel welcomed and always started your day with smiles and great service. The desks staff on the other hand could use some work. If their mean glares don't scare you from talking to them, the attitudes for asking questions just might. You don't need to make people feel incompetent for asking a simple question about check out.

There are hiking trails within walking distance of the property which is great for being active. The hotel is off the beaten path from downtown Sedona making it quieter than most other options. However, the pool draws many families with younger kids during holiday breaks so that area was very boisterous during my stay. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Property and staff were excellent. We had the studio apartment with King bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen area fully stocked with essentials. Pool, hot tub, grilling and outdoor dining area with adjacent but fenced off fire pit and area to play corn hole makes a nice area to play and relax. Family friendly but we went without kids and enjoyed time with other adult only couples. Rooms were quiet even with kids next door. Great free breakfast, bar area, and convenience to Sedona tourist activities, shopping, and hiking trails.

Awesome 👍 This is fairly new place in West Sedona, clean and nice room with the typical Residence Inn facilities which is kitchen, living room and spacious bathroom. Pool was small but lovely, breakfast was decent, staffs are very friendly (Thank you Nicholas!). A perfect spot for both families and couples :)

It was our honeymoon, my mom who paid for the room as a gift wanted to have a special message. They would not accommodate in the slightest. Front desk was unfriendly and when we called for room turn over they said they would accommodate but nothing was done. Breakfast was free, and tasted horrible. Kids everywhere, not relaxing as a couple. Location was great if you have a rental car. Walls are thin, could hear kids screaming and dogs barking. Shout out to the maintenance man we met on day one who was the kindest person the property since we checked into a sink that wouldn’t drain. Only person at the hotel to be welcoming!

Wonderful place, family friendly. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

Great place to bring the kids.
