The location was convenient and centrally located. I liked the renovated room however the shower area had mold in the grout that needed to be replaced. Otherwise a decent room. They never came to clean and we stayed 3 nights. Not even to remove garbage. The pool area was nice however the pool was overrun by children and teens without parents. The staff should ensure that an adult is present for children. There were kids jumping from the waterfalls into the pool and I had to raise my voice and have them stop. Overall, a good hotel for the price but if they cleaned better and policed the pool a bit it could rate much better. Lastly, not really a diamond snob but not even a free water or snack on check in, or even an acknowledgement.

We enjoyed our stay, but the room was a lot smaller than we anticipated even though it was advertised as a suite. Also, the pool was not heated as advertised. There were some fun activities onsite for the kids such as jumbo Jenna blocks and connect four as well as cornhole.

The fact that they could not accommodate me with the room that I had requested and paid for was disappointing, to start. The front desk person was absolutely rude when I told her I was not happy about not getting the patio room that I had paid for. First, she told me it was because I had booked through Expedia. She mentioned that for a second time later in the conversation. She figured that offering me 3 - $30 breakfast coupons should cover the inconvenience. I disagreed. She ended up putting us in a room that had a shared patio. This patio would have been fine if we knew the other family. There were 3 seats, and 6 people total, in a very confined patio. The next day when Samuel, the "manager" came in, he was very sympathetic, and I thought that he handled the situation very professionally. When he didn't get back to me when he said he would, I went to see him again. At that point it was like he was a different person. He said he was too busy to look at the situation and might get a chance to look at it sometime next week. I asked again if he even remembered our conversation and claimed that he did. I ran into him again about an hour later and all of a sudden, he knew all about the situation but was very aggressive in telling me that the shared patio actually cost more than my original room with its private patio. Obviously, I said you are not going to try to go down that road. He stormed back into his office and actually slammed the door in my face. He was a changed person.

This was a convenient location for us to easily get to Scottsdale Quarter and to the highways to get to Sedona, Apache Junction, and the airport. The bedding was SUPERB!! We did not take time to enjoy the pool or outside area, but i look forward to bringing my grandchildren back with me next time to enjoy that!!

My husband and I booked a solo vacation away from our kids and unfortunately it was the same time as kids sporting team events. The entire property was overrun with screaming kids inside and outside. We weren’t able to enjoy any of the amenities because of hundreds of kids everywhere. This wasn’t the hotels fault, and they did their best to manage the kids in the hallways but it was very chaotic. The front staff was also kind of rude, just not particularly nice. The bartender wasn’t very friendly either. The hotel was in an okay location, but we probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I used to live in this area for twenty years; it was nice to return to a neighborhood I knew well, know that shopping and dining were nearby. Having a large grocery store is a huge plus, being near the freeway is a huge plus, the fitness room, the pool....all amenities that we use. Yes, we will return again! We'll bring the family next time.
