Sonesta ES Suites Tempe

Staff was very nice. Clean enough and budget friendly. Came to town to visit family. Will stay here again

This was my second stay here. First was good, this one was not. We had a first floor suite this time. Tenants above us we so noisy both nights. Complained both times...to no avail. Said security would go talk to them... Security never showed up. Had an early flight on Monday morning and needed to be up by 3am. Didn't get some sleep till way after 10pm because of the noise. Mostly kids I'm sure... But on the bright side, the woman doing the breakfast on Saturday was amazing. She knee what she was doing. Made sure she got a tip.

Stay away from this property. We drove 8hr LA to Tempe on Friday. As soon as we arrived (midnight )to this hotel, there were 2 ladies fighting right at the entrance. Security person called the cop. We checked in to our room and it was hot. Thought may be it was hot in daytime so the room is hot. Cranked up the AC and waited 20min and still the thermostat showed 85degree for room temperature. Called the front desk and they said they cannot do much till morning 6am,no portable ac , no room available. I did mention we have a year old son with us still no sympathy and no sorry. Luckily we booked through expedia. Called the customer care and they were able to find another property for us. It was 3 am in morning by that time. Went to front desk to drop the keys. Still this person didn’t had any sympathy for the situation and no sorry as well. Poor customer service. Btw remember the fight??? By this time there were 3 cop cars. Good that we moved out from here. I would not recommend anyone to stay here , specially when traveling with kids. Night can get sketchy.

I like the fact that we have plenty of room for myself and my children to roam. For this stay I didnt like that there were no towels, or toilet paper in the rooms. I

This hotel was perfect and comfortable. Couldn’t be happier, we stayed in a two bedroom and it was super spacious and had two bathrooms. Worked well for our family giving everyone a little more privacy than a regular hotel room. Breakfast was very good!

Decent hotel! Room was decent size. Breakfast was ok. Few issues. Close to many things and other food options. Expensive time in phx right now, but we stay here again when lrices go back down. Things are a little aged and beat up which was fine for us, and the kids. Pool was

Great location, plenty of room for a family if 4. The sports court was a Great addition. addition, Ned’s were comfortable, I would definitely recommend.

This place was amazing!! My kiddos loved it and having seperate rooms for them and my husband and I was fantastic! It was so wonderfully quiet and just an amazing place to stay!

Let me start by saying how much I appreciated the staff. Check in was warm, welcoming and the lady who runs the breakfast area in the morning was so kind and friendly. The bad: this place is basically low end housing. My room was filthy and falling apart. Mold in the air vent, musty, soiled carpet (forced me to wear sandals or socks the entire time). Don’t get me started on the bathroom. Busted sink, filthy fixtures and a shower that did not drain. Honestly, shame on this place for calling themselves “suites”. Had this place been refundable through Expedia and if I had not “only” be sleeping there a few hours a night after spending the day with family, would have left in a heartbeat. FYI, this place is two levels and the neighborhood is sketchy at best. The guests above me sounded as if they were moving furniture all night (for four straight nights). And twice someone was walking outside my window (my “suite” backed up to Baseline Rd which was littered with the homeless). Traveler beware.

My family and i love this place. Definitely a must if you like to travel with family. Thank you to the staff always so welcoming.
