Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix East - Gilbert, an IHG Hotel

Came to visit family and stayed here. This was an excellent hotel. Everything was 10/10. Super clean. Great location. Staff were pleasant. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again

Nice area to stay and big rooms for family of 6

I booked a room for my family of 5 on Expedia. It was suppose to be a 2 queen bed and sleeper sofa (to sleep 6) but when i showed up the staff only had a room that slept 4 on file for us. Even though it was probably more of Expedia's fault, the hotel staff quickly went to work as they didnt have any bigger rooms available. They called over to the Staybridge (their sister hotel which is connecting next door) to see if they had openings. So in the end they went above and beyond and accomodated my family of 5. They upgraded us the hotel nexr door into a 2 bedroom with 3 total beds and everything was free of charge. I really appreciated the no hassle fix. Love when businesses handle "mishaps" like this.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at. We were greeted at check-in by Julia who was very polite, friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy and we got right into our room. Room was clean and nice with a microwave and fridge. We decided to take our kids swimming at the pool. There were no towels but Julia quickly went and got some and brought them right to our table. The pool is bigger than most as it is shared between two properties. It was nice and warm which we loved! The tv was a bit glitchy on some channels, not sure if this was normal or cause of the storm that was rolling through. The air conditioner wasn’t exactly super-quiet and the beds were a little firm for my liking but overall it was a great hotel stay.

Travelling last minute and need a place to distract you from your troubles? This one fits the budget with a higher-end pool. It shares property with Staybridge Hotel, they share a pool. Step away from the standard low end rectangular pool and imagine a clean river, with a bonus jacuzzi to melt in. Our favorite feature was being able to gather around the propane fire-pit after a long day and had family that lived in the area visit, catch up and enjoy the simple atmosphere. After staying until pool hours closed we trickled up to our room where we got our beds ready, a room to sleep 6, and that's exactly how many we had. My husband wasn't pleased with the bedding. There were only 4 towels in the room. So I recommend after checking in, to go thru and check for these, frustration easily avoided if you take the time to check, had to go downstairs to ask for sofa bedding. easy fix, pleasant easy going staff. A short walk to Fry's Marketplace, Nail spa, Eateries, Yoga store and more. Oh, and simple, flavorful breakfast included, pancake maker, pastries, sausage, omelettes, fresh fruit, beverages (juice, coffee, tea, milk, water). Placed in a sound, well kept, safe neighborhood.
