DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Phoenix - Gilbert

We booked a junior suite for 6 days & our room was never cleaned/trash not taken out until the 5th day when I stopped a cleaning lady out of my room. I requested from the front desk on the 3rd & 4th day & was promised that it will be cleaned but was never done . One of the towels had a blood stain. The hotel restaurant was very understaffed.. the cashier was also the waitress & told us that there was only one Cook.. waited for hours for expensive breakfast. I always use Hilton hotels but I will never go back to this hotel. Hilton should take their name out from this place.

Hotels.com had a falsely advertised room that the hotel said doesn't even exist. The only reason I gave a 3 star to the hotel is because they went ahead and upgraded us to a junior suite from what Hotels.com booked us for. I originally booked for what is the hotel's honeymoon suite but Hotels.com booked us in a regular king bed. The junior suite they upgraded us to was just a slightly larger version of their basic room. There was nothing on the walls, no rug or anything on a hardwood flooring. The room echos like crazy and the TV was not even close to the right size for the room (not to mention, barely worked). We couldn't even read the guide from the bed. The one thing they have going for them is their water pressure - but don't stay under the shower for too long, you might not have any skin left. If you feel like spending $220+/night on a VERY minimalistic experience, this is your place.

Have stayed at this location many times before. The pool always seems like a hit with my kids. The staff was amazing really seemed they cared. Please let them know we said that especially when we checked in the gentleman was caring.

I booked a junior suite over a month prior to my arrival, but there was not any available.

The property itself wasn't too bad but, the service was awful. I tried checking in an hour after check in time but no room was ready. I was told they would call when the room was ready so our family of five waited around to NEVER recieve a call. There was a huge and obvious hairball on the bathroom floor, dirty sheets on the sofa bed and no blankets available. I asked for extra towels because we only had two and was told there weren't any clean but some would be dropped off later only to recieve none. Just frustrating customer service I will not go back to that.

Stay in this area slot for children’s sports and this by far is the best hotel in the area

This hotel uncomfortable, cold, dark and gross. there were cold hardwood floors, plain bare walls and dark nearly empty room. it felt like a CREEPY dungeon. There were chips on the tub with paint thrown over them. not a family place. stayed in Feb. 2023 do not recommend fur comfort.

While the staff is super nice, I was frustrated to learn when I checked in that they had oversold my room and had to scramble to find a different room. The rooms themselves aren’t very nice - laminate flooring, no curtains, and hardly any decor. There are no usb plugins for cell phone chargers that you find in more modern hotels. The one redeeming quality I found to be the beautiful pools, which myself and my four kids thoroughly enjoyed!

We were visiting family in Gilbert and we chose this hotel due to proximity. We were very pleased with the service from the minute we arrived until we checked out. Can’t say enough about the incredible staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. A quick shout out to the breakfast chef. Both mornings all 4 of us loved the breakfast. Never had a breakfast of that quality in a hotel ever. I travel on business all over the country and you guys are doing everything right. Thanks for a great experience.
