My Place Hotel Phoenix West Buckeye AZ

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, down to earth, but equally professional. I was pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen with a microwave, two burner stovetop, refrigerator, freezer with an ice maker and full size, single sink with a garbage disposal. There is also a toaster. This a "no frills" hotel, but that is an added plus. My only complaint, that would matter to most people, is there are no dishes, utensils or cookware! For me, given I am a full-time traveler, I had these things with me. The hotel provides dish soap, a wash/dish towel and 13 gallon, swing lid trashcan. I chose not to cook, but I did bring in all my containers and utensils that needed a real dish washing! Given the location, I did not hear traffic outside (I was at the back of the building, but near I-10) not did I hear the fussing toddler in the next room, once I was in my room. Traveling on the interstate, I would not hesitate to stay in the is hotel! My bank, Walmart and various places to eat are in walking distance! (The Panda Express across the street was the first time I was disgusted with the food.) The delivery was quick and the food was hot! The is not breakfast, but items are for sale (I didn't check the price, with a refrigerator I was able to have my yogurt and other favorites. I loved not having to get ice! I was there for two nights. There is a bathtub and recliner chair in my room. The wide desk was on wheels so I could face the TV when eating!

Really cool idea and super convenient! For a long stay and/or with kids, awesome concept! A studio apartment. Staff weren't very friendly but not unpleasant. Hotel and room were very clean but felt 'well used'. But totally comfortable and definitely something we will look for and hope to find during many of our future, casual vacations. Road trip heaven!
