La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Montgomery

Not clean, not clean, not clean. I stay in a lot of hotels a year and rarely do I feel a need to write a review, but this must be written. I had two rooms for my family and we stayed here based on the ratings on Expedia, but I could not have been more disappointed. In one room there was food crumbs all over the room, pubic hair noticeably throughout from the counters, to the bathroom, the sink, the shower, and the floor, fake eyelashes on the nightstand including one on the phone, and a full handprint on the shower curtain that looked like it was from makeup. In the other room there were multiple greasy stains on the comforters of both queen beds that could have been anything, the nightstand was at a 70 degree angle to the floor from someone sitting on it, and I killed a 2.5 inch long, large cockroach. The hotel smelled clean but I fear that was a mask for uncleanliness and poor maintenance. The staff could clearly learn lessons in both. Haven’t stayed at a La Quinta in 25 years and probably will be another 25 before I do again.

Was traveling with family, I would absolutely book again when in the area, the room was clean and you could smell the cleanliness of the hotel. They are in there doing their job lol.

Requested my room be cleaned for 2 days and refused service and housekeeping was very rude when asked for the room to be cleaned. The front desk told me I would have to clean the room myself. I then requested another room and was given t the room across the hall and it was to my surprise very clean and comfortable. BUT it was our last night so it really didn’t help us at all. The hotel is a very nice hotel if they kept the rooms cleaned and vacuumed. The kids had a great time in the pool and it was very clean and the lady kept the towels available. The laundry room and workout room was clean and both have security for your safety. It’s not that far from the shopping center not walking distant but about a 5 minute drive.li was also denied my receipt I was told they couldn’t print it out but I would get a email and till now that has yet to happen. Manager refuse to assist me.

The hotel is just okay. It’s clean and accessible to pretty much everything. The pool isn’t heated. We booked the room for 2 adults, 3 children and an infant. The king bed was very comfortable, but the kids slept in a double sleeper sofa and it was disgusting. There wasn’t any bedding available in the room and even after requesting it they couldnt provide a complete set of anything. We got 1 pillow and 3 sheets. No blankets. No extra pillows. Just what was left over. There was a leak under the sink that needed repaired that caused a foul smell. I’d recommend staying elsewhere if you could.

The staff is always on point. This is my favorite hotel in Eastchase! However, my children and I had trouble sleeping with the noisy neighbors. It was a lot of loud repetitively knocking on doors, angrily shouting and I never have those type problems when I come.

The good: The property was clean. The rooms, lobby area, breakfast area, and halls all looked like they had been extensively cleaned regularly. The rooms were very quiet. We were on the pet friendly floor and yet we didn't hear the usual hotel noises: people slamming doors, dogs barking, people walking down the hallway. None of it. And our room was on the back of the building, overlooking an undeveloped area, so we didn't hear car noises either. Very peaceful. Also the area of town the hotel was in a was good. Lots of restaurants and shopping places should you forget something. The bad: If you have kids, this may not be the hotel for you. While it does have the suites to allow room for big families, the amenities that appeal to families weren't great. The pool could be described as murky and cloudy. You could not see the bottom at all, which in a 3 and a half foot pool is really bad. Not to mention, that the pool is SMALL. The breakfast offerings were also pretty pitiful. At least they had the obligatory hotel waffles, but there was only one waffle iron and the timer didn't work on it, so you just kind of had to guess when your waffles were done. Beyond that, the pickings we're slim. Instant grits (not oatmeal), yogurt that was completely frozen all the way thru and inedible, plain bread and bagels to toast, a few cereal choices, and the hot bar where the sausage and eggs looked oddly wet. So not a great option if you have kids or the free breakfast are important to you

The property was not clean and the other guests were very loud. It was an unpleasant stay and I will never take my family back there again.

Check in was miserable. Took forever to get the system to accept my payment method, after transferring from one bank card to another, incurring transfer fees for having to move funds. My child was exhausted and it took 20 minutes to get a room. The next day my key didn’t work and I had to wake my daughter up to go downstairs and get a new key.

Don't usually stay at a La Quinta. Bed was uncomfortable. Air conditioner did not work well. Probably would not stay here again. Towels were sized for kids.
