Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Montgomery E - Eastchase, an IHG Hotel

This was the hotel from hell. The check in was horrible. The floors were dirty and sticky. The elevator was filthy. We came to our room and we saw several ROACHES in our room. There were no blankets for the pull out bed, the pull out bed’s mattress was FILTHY, no towels, our floors in the bathroom were sticky. I called to the front desk about blankets and towels and the front desk person was RUDE. She eventually said someone would bring the items. After we waited for an hour and a half, my husband went down to get them himself because our kids were exhausted and ready to go to sleep. The desk person was rude to him as well and said they were overbooked and too busy. The next day we asked for our room to get cleaned on our way out at around 11 am, we got back at 11pm and our room did not get cleaned. No new towels, nothing! As we were leaving, we show the housekeeping staff on there phones as if they were done for the day. The breakfast staff was great, very friendly. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of the breakfast items and it was only 8:30. The pool was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. My son was very disappointed that he could not swim because it was very gross. If we hadn’t already been charged, we would have left. I felt like we were at a low budget motel. We paid over $400 to stay in this dump. I can say that the night front desk guy was very sweet. The stay was just awful.

My wife and I booked our stay here for our trip to see family and grandchildren. Hotel was easily accessible, and check-in was quick. We noticed right away that staff was cleaning throughout the entire hotel. All staff that we met during our stay were very friendly and welcoming, and service was excellent. Room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was outstanding. When we return for visits, we’ll always stay here, keep up the great work!

last minute stay late at night with small children while traveling. Felt she, well lit parking lot, clean and quiet. Easy check-in.

My stay was amazing, I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. The breakfast had a variety of items to satisfy your cravings. The front desk employee was very accommodating with all of my request. Very romantic New Years stay.

I like the lady in the Dinning Hall, she was very friendly, welcoming and polite. She was the reason my family and i would come down for breakfast. She was Awesome. Tina your front desk staff was an AWESOME host and she was friendly every morning. Great Staff !!! This is where I will book my reservation when I return to Montgomery.

I was in town for a family reunion. I booked a room for 2 nights. On the first night they didn’t have the correct room type that I requested. On the 2nd day when my husband and I went to leave the room We noticed that the door didn’t lock, when we went to the front desk to inform her, the lady told us they would call maintenance to look at it, but we should take our stuff with us. That made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. We decided to check out early and book a room somewhere else. When I spoke to the manager he was fine but the women at the front desk had a huge attitude. Do not book with this hotel the staff is very unprofessional!!

Everything was good but when we wanted extra towels they said we could only have 3 after we bring 3 back but i had come with my wife and four children really sucks they couldnt give us more towels and the front desk people were very rude about it

We arrived after 10pm and had difficulty finding a place to park where I felt safe walking in alone with my kids because there were several areas where homeless people had taken residence for the night as well as at least one person sleeping in their car.

The water pressure in the shower was extremely low and the toilet had bad stains in the inside as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was no body wash nor lotion in the dispensers in the bathroom and the shampoo and conditioner bottles appeared as if there had been water added to the bottles for the appearance of something being in them. There was no signage up to inform of the pool closure. I took my children to enjoy it and noticed there were no unused available towels so I went to the front desk to inquire about pool towels. There was a gentleman that appeared to tell me that the pool was closed and the state hadn't been there to inspect it, therefore noone was to be in it. Once I questioned as to why there were no signs he only looked at me, restated his initial response and asked me to wait while he went to get me towels then specified that I make certain that I get my children out of the pool.
