Sonesta Simply Suites Huntsville Research Park

We had booked a room for our daughter’s college graduation. We chose this hotel because of the kitchenette as we were planning a party for our daughter and her friends. Our original room was a suite on the ground floor. The interior door knob fell off in my hands and we couldn’t exit the room. When we were finally able to escape, we were given another room on the second floor which was not a suite. We returned to get our things and found an earthworm crawling across the floor. We reported all of this and while the front office staff voiced concern no other accommodations were given to us. Our other child had to stay with her sister because there was no place for her to sleep. There was construction on the parking lot next door which is what our window faced. We visit Huntsville frequently and we’re very disappointed by this hotel. Never received any contact from the hotel management about our issues.

Good economical choice. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Great shower. Clean. Friendly staff. Workout out room being in the same room as free coffee and laundry can make working out awkward. Would stay again on work trips. But not family fun trips.
