Clarion Pointe Huntsville Research Park

We really enjoyed the big bath tub in the back of the hotel. Bubbles everywhere with my grandbaby. Had a blast.

This was a family sports trip. The staff and the service were amazing and very accommodating but the room itself was dated and needed some updates like grime free bath/shower and a working shower head. Our room was in front of the truck-free parking area but truck owners warmed up their trucks at 5:00am. There were rules but nobody to enforce them.

We didn't get the "disabled" room, so we were on the second floor that had no way to get your luggage on a cart and get it up the sidewalk. We had to carry our luggage piece by piece, which for us was a lot. I do have a bad back, and I was traveling with children and my mother. They need a ramp and carts to use in the back building.

Me and my family had a great time down in Alabama Huntsville at the we were down there for a school orientation for my daughter the. The staff was amazing coming to find out, the front desk worker is from Chicago where I'm from.

The room was terrible. My family was so uncomfortable that we left and found a new place to stay. There were signs of bed bugs (couldn’t tell if they were new signs or old ones). There were boogers wiped on the curtains and tons of crumbs and old food all over the place. The front desk lady was super nice and didn’t know we left. We just had to get out of there asap.

We were optimistic about this hotel after reading other reviews, but we will never stay here again. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good and that was fantastic, however, there were bigger issues that couldn’t be overlooked be nice people. We had two cockroaches on our bathroom over our two night stay. There was a blood stain on our comforter that we only discovered as we were packing up to leave. Not only that but it was hard to the touch so I’m assuming it hadn’t even been washed. There were people in the pool who were not staying at the hotel being obnoxious and trashing the pool area. The baby was in the pool with no diaper and just a onesie. There was also a lot of foot traffic from surrounding businesses through the hotel parking lot where the people would stop and hang out in the hotel’s courtyard area and smoke. Most seemed to be under the influence of something and made us feel uncomfortable to even leave our parked car there and walk by to our room.
