Comfort Suites Huntsville Research Park Area

The room and hotel itself was not in the best condition. It looked to be overdue for a renovation. Our couch had stains on it and we depended on it for the kids to sleep on. The workout area was a chair facing the pool. My grandchildren was looking forward to working out as they do on vacations. The pool had stuff in the bottom of it. The "breakfast buffet" was a joke. The second morning had a mixture of what looked like eggs with may be turkey sausage with an extreme amount of water. It was not fit to eat. I would have never fed it to my dog. The only positive thing was the woman that worked at the front desk when we arrived. She was very pleasant. I will not stay here again nor will i ever recommend any one else to stay.

They were having bday party in the lobby with kids screaming and running everywhere and completely took over the pool. Elevator was always busy do to this party and had to take the stairs all the way to 4th floor. A warning that there is a bday party would be nice. Had to ask for a blanket for the pullout and extra towels when it clearly said 3 guest and there was only enough for two people. There was conditioner and no shampoo. People slamming doors. It was awful!

It was a convenient stay for me and my children to stop and sleep for the night. Staff was very nice. The breakfast staff even let us grab a few things to eat before we had to hit the road earlier than expected even though breakfast hadn't started yet.

It was very big room for our family. Enough space my dad has a wheelchair and walker for him to mover around

My family and I got to the hotel to check in but no one ever came to the desk.

Very disappointing. We stayed here for a quick fall break trip and booked this particular hotel because it had a pool and was a good location for the activities we wanted to do. I called ahead to confirm the pool was open before booking. The man on the phone said it was, so I booked! We weren’t expecting to walk into the Ritz Carlton by any means but it was apparent that there hasn’t been much updating done in a long time. Imagine my shock when the woman checking us in says “the pool ain’t working, so you know.” Then follows it up with the Wi-Fi is in and out. We aren’t visiting the area for the hotel alone but after we hyped our three young kids up about how we could take a swim in the evening only to have to tell them we couldn’t, we were disappointed. The room had a no smoking sign but it was apparent that people had been smoking either in the hallway or possibly in our room. The continental breakfast was ok but the man working the front desk the next day really needs to lighten up. He was not very friendly at all.
