Holiday Inn Express & Suites Birmingham - Homewood, an IHG Hotel

Had to switch rooms bc the room was so dirty and nasty, didn’t even want to take off our shoes. One woman, LaShonda went out of her way for us but the overall customer srv was terrible! Had to get new comforters bc they were covered in mold when you held them up against the open window. No washer/dryer on site which was a huge hit for us bc we were there for a baseball tournament. No microwave in the room. No one greets you as you come and go. No housekeeping until after your 3rd day!! We literally took the trash out ourselves and can honestly say we left the room cleaner then we found it!!! Will NOT be staying there again for any other tournaments nor will the other families we stayed there. We were there for 5 nites, had to switch rooms the 2nd day and ended up checking out the 4th and checked into a nearby brand new holiday inn express which was AMAZING and about $50 cheaper per night!
