Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Lakeshore Drive

Very comfortable bed, clean, and conveniently located. Only downside was that we couldn’t use the pool bc of so many kids staying. But, that’s part of traveling in the summer.

As always was a great stay and will be back. Only negatives were little warm in common areas for me and the amount of kids playing tag in hallway hollering.

Check in was fine, the kick back was nice. We were shorted a kick back ticket for our rooom. My room also had no air conditioning. We got in the room and put the kids to bed and by the time they fell asleep we realized the room wasn’t cooling down. Lavonda at the front desk was nice in switching rooms however it was unfortunate as our stuff was unpacked and the kids were asleep. Tranferring all of our stuff and sleeping kids down the hall to a different type of room was a hassle and the kids woke up. I feel like the A/C should be on a check list to make sure it’s in working order before they provide that room?

It was okay. The kids enjoyed the the pool.

Place is nice to sleep and gear up for the next leg of a trip. Had some restaurants near which was good. Breakfast in the morning was taken over by ball players making waffles. We got down for breakfast 30 minutes after it opened. Never slowed down the entire shift. Kids ran around knocking into things, people, and food. Sad to say we had to go and the kids didn't get the one thing they had asked about the night before. (Maybe have someone doing orders for waffles instead of letting people try to cook who normally do not cook). People hanging out drinking by the cars made it an uneasy feeling for a family arriving at night. Felt as if I should park the car outside my window to watch it all night. The rooms were fine. Didn't seem dirty, but were not super clean either. I think the amount I paid didn't add up to the place I stayed. Would be nice for $119 a night, no where near $250 though.

The staff was friendly and the food and drinks were ok. The room accommodations (outdated) weren't worth the rate. My sinuses are very sensitive and the room's stale smell (carpet) didn't help one bit. Not a place I'd recommend for family retreat, but if you're looking to have good eating options and get a decent night's sleep with no fear of crime, then this is a good place.

Them motel was clean, the kids enjoyed the pool and the business area was so helpful for me as I still run my business while we travel

First time staying at a Drury property and we will be back! My kids loved the pool and popcorn. The complimentary breakfast and dinner was great!

It was comfortable and clean. The service was so welcoming. Amazingly family friendly, with kid and adult amenities. Located in key location.

My wife and I had an excellent stay overnight. The staff were very friendly and highly professional. The food was terrific, both at breakfast and in the evening. We also had our small dog - the facilities were perfect for her, too. Lots of families were present - the atmosphere was wonderful. On our way back, we will be staying there again. Absolutely first class in everything :)
