Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham SE/Liberty Park

We had asked for rooms to be at least on same floor as one of the rooms would have kids and they put us on two different floors and was told that they couldn’t accommodate our request because of the way booked our room.

My family and I did not enjoy our stay, the refrigerator was not working properly, we put a request in and no one showed up. The breakfast on Saturday was not appetizing and overpriced. After we came back from our event our room wasn’t cleaned we had to request towels and additional supplies. The kids wanted to go to the pool and the water looked cloudy and bugs were flying every where because someone jammed a window open. We will not return to this hotel unfortunately. We let the staff know what was going on but they told us they cannot help us because we booked third party. That excuse is terrible because regardless of how we booked we are customers and deserve for our concerned to be taken seriously. My husband and I are Hilton Honor’s members but chose to book through Expedia because we had a credit for a stay. We were displeased to see how it feels to stay with Hilton through a 3rd party.

The hotel was very clean, pool was nice for the kids, very dog friendly, staff was always available.

I traveled to a family vacation spot and stayed here on the way there. It was fantastic! So calm and peace-filled! So, I stayed again on the way back and found it equally wonderful the second time! I'd recommend this to place to anyone weary from a day of riding in a car. I'm not sure about the reviews I read from others about the staff, but I encountered quite a few staff members and was treated with great kindness and attention from every single one. I'd sure stay another night here when I'm headed in that direction again.
