Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Grandview

Good overall thanks for hosting me and my family.

The staff was amazing. The front desk staff (especially the daytime staff was nice and helpful) - they were so kind that our kids insisted on stopping by to say bye before we left. Breakfasts and dinners were well-stocked and offered a variety of foods. The pool was clean (although hyper-chlorinated). You always saw staff waking through checking and and making sure towels were plentiful. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to.

Guest were very loud in the hall. It could be due to the fact that the elevators were slow and our room so across from stairwell so some guest probably choose to take stairs instead of elevator. Hot dogs and buns at kick back were cold and stale but the employees serving and helping kickback were terrific! So very helpful. I always stay at this hotel cause they were so wonderful to our family while my father was dying in Grandview. The staff is very kind and goes out of thier way to make it as easy as possible

Super friendly, the on-site food options and indoor pool all are great options. Small kids tv options would be a great improvement such as nick jr or pbs kids… or both!

We booked this Hotel in Birmingham for our daughter’s travel Volleyball tournament at the Finley Center. Super convenient location with an indoor pool and hot tub. We were definitely surprised about the complementary adult beverages from 5:30-7pm and complementary dinner. Most Hotels barely have a breakfast bar. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend anyone with small children or any children to book this location.

Indoor Pool and jacuzzi NOT WORKING! I could’ve selected 10 hotels to stay at so that my children could swim and I was told their pool has been broken for awhile. This should’ve been disclosed on their website. Full FREE breakfast was good and convenient. Very spacious room suite with dual thermostats.

My review of this property will be long because I would like to share a great experience! This was the first time my husband and I chose to stay at a Drury Hotel. We chose Drury because it was located directly across the street from the hospital where my husband had an early morning doctor's appointment. Due to my husband's health issues, he uses a walker for short distances and a wheelchair for long distances. Since I made a late online reservation, an accessible room was not available. When I arrived to check in I explained to Erilha, who was working at the front desk, that my husband was using a walker and could not walk long distances. Erilha was wonderful! She checked room availability and reassigned us to a room that was close to the elevator. She informed us that we could have drinks and snacks at Kickback. She helped my husband and me choose a table where he could easily sit down and get up. Matt who was supervising the Kickback event welcomed us and informed me about the food that was included on the snack buffet. He was very friendly and made us feel as though we were a part of the Drury Hotel family. Thank you Erilha and Matt for a wonderful welcome. My husband and I will definately return to this Drury Hotel when he has future doctors' appointments, choose Drury Hotels when we take road trips and share our wonderful experience with our family and friends!.

Ants in my room, empty Kleenex box, and a half empty roll of toilet paper for 2 adults and 3 my 3 children. I booked based on all of the great reviews, but I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I'll also be contacting corporate and be submitting a formal complaint if I don't hear from the manager by the end of the week. Review will be edited accordingly.

Good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and meet and greet time. It is family hotel with layout where one can see the lobby from any floor. It is small hotel and so the noise travels. Luckily after certain hours there was no noise rule which worked.

Wonderful. Staff was great and made sure the kids had the best time. The food service was also amazing and everyone was friendly.
