Cityroomz Edinburgh

Hotel was lovely very good location. I had booked a family room but there was maintenance on the room so we were given 2 room but only had bunk beds in them. Beds very super comfy and rooms were spacious and big tv on the wall. Overall can’t complain excellent room for what we paid.

Location is excellent for exploring Edinburgh. The condo like layout was excellent for our family of three. The only reason not 5 stars is the elevator was out and it’s a lot of stairs.

I found this hotel completely unsatisfactory. When we arrived there was no place for our son to sleep, even though they were aware there would be 3 of us in the room. We ended up having to change rooms with a very dirty, bordering on disgusting couch they expected my child to sleep on. There were obvious marks from being soiled. There were no amenities at the hotel. I will never book this hotel again. It was not a good value for what we paid for the 5 nights we stayed.

The room was very small for a family room, the room was too warm and didn’t have any AC. Although very close to everything the actual room was a little disappointing. Staff was great.

Great location if you are using public transportation, tours and all. Easy walk to the city Centre and places of interest. Room is a bit smaller, but that might be the trend in that area. The elevator being out of service was an issue, property did notify couple of days before our trip start on this and staff did offer help both at check in and checkout with our luggages, but we managed ourselves still - the daily up and down the stairs with the baby stroller and stuffs were hard. We have faced similar situation couple of times with other properties and were offered a discount on the room rates due to the inconvenience - something this property could have done as well imo, just a thought.

Room was ideal for our family overnight. Staff were quick to sort us with a travel cot for my daughter and any other enquiries we had

We had a family room and it was very large. Walkable to all the sites.

It's is so close to the train station, bus stop, hop on hop off stops and especially so close to The London Eye/ Restaurants & The Bean where my kids love to go.

Perfect for us with 2 adults and an adult child. Extra room with bunk bed worked great. Easy walk to old town.
