Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. I booked 4 bedrooms for our family group and everyone enjoyed their stay. Slept soundly in the very comfortable luxurious rooms and enjoyed the overall ambiance of the bar and communal lounges. We didn’t have time to visit the spa on this occasion but some of the group loved spa days there previously. The staff were friendly and efficient. Liked the midday checkout as too often these days hotels require 11AM. The hotel entrance had been dressed for Christmas which was extra pretty and the scent of cinnamon and clove was instantly welcoming. We celebrated a happy occasion last night with champagne before heading off to nearby Hawksmoor on St Andrew’s Square, easily walkable and down to Galleries on Dondas street this morning. Walked to Waverley Station for our trains from the hotel in 15 minutes.

The hospitality of the staff was excellent in that they were all friendly, welcoming, helpful and most importantly professional. I would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Our stay at the Charlotte Kimpton Square really was impeccable from start to finish, from the staff friendliness and service, to the cleanliness of the rooms and general atmosphere. Would have no hesitation to return or to recommend to friends and family.
