Wonderful stay, very comfortable, excellent breakfast, good wines and dinner, close to The Mile and walking distance of touristic places, nice staff and overall a pleasant journey ; we will definitely come back either as a family or as a couple without children.

We booked 2 x deluxe suites for 2 families of 3 and thought we had been given the wrong rooms, a bed had to be brought up to one room and the sofa bed had to be made up in the other, nothing deluxe about them for £505 per room for one night, not even a breakfast included.

Strongest and warmest thanks to the property staff who were exceptional - friendly, genuine, extremely helpful. We stayed with a 14-month old baby and their patience and friendliness was outstanding. This really made our stay. Food was good both for dinner and breakfast. As for the hotel itself - it’s really in the need of a renovation (approaching restoration at this stage) but this was reflective of the price tag. Location was quite convenient and handy. So it’s really - Marriott now should put in a bit of effort, upgrade and renovate the amenities and facilities - you then get an amazing hotel that could double the price tag by UK standards. Once again though - amazing staff and huge thanks from my family to them!

The staff were very pleasant and friendly, but it was obvious they were understaffed, a problem I know the sector is suffering with. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was only serviced during this time because we requested it, not a big issue, but in my opinion this should be a given and not on a request basis, we had to request additional toilet roll etc . We travelled with my 6 year old daughter and the mattress on the sofa bed was not comfy, you wouldn’t let a animal sleep on it never mind a child. The staff were helpful and did provide additional duvets to support, but the cost of the property doesn’t feel like value for money. The breakfast was ok, a bit limited for the size of hotel and the pool / facilities were nice to have and quiet so you can enjoy at your leisure. The steam room was broken on our visit.
Again I can’t reiterate how nice the staff were with us, but it was expensive and I wouldn’t return for this reason.

The hotel is in need of renovation. The shower was out of order. No toiletries provided. TV remote control didn't work. The hotel does not have a policy to deny people access with a phone in the pool. I saw a few individuals taking pictures of my kids, my wife and other ladies in the pool obviously without their consent.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast service team all great with our kids too. We loved the pool and the hotel is in a quiet spot, yet close to the city.
