It was a one night stay on my way to St Andrews for family event. This hotel is well located and clean. It was extremely expensive because Taylor Swift was in town. So the cost was not consistent with the place.

Traveling with a family of 5 adults. The 2 delux suite rooms were perfect. Staff and service was great. Right across the street from Waverly and close to Royal Mile.

Just a one night stay with my two small kids. Our first room had a TV that suddenly stopped working and a phone that didn't work, but we were doonswapped I to another room (with a MUCH nicer view - not sure why we weren't put there initially...) Excellent service.

Absolutely amazing!! Spent one night here as a family of 3 for my sons 18th birthday weekend. I called to let reception know and they left a birthday card, cake plate and bottle in the room which was so appreciated. The concierge was super helpful with recommendations and took time to chat to him about his day. Location of hotel was great, just behind the Royal mile so very central. Loads of bars, restaurants and shops, easy quick walk to castle. Room was perfect 1 double bed and a single one, very clean and lovely design. Would highly recommended this hotel and would love to come back. Thank you for a great stay, 10/10!

We had an amazing time and the staff were great with our little girl. In particular Kym was superb at breakfast and came and chatted with us and entertained the baby.

The hotel is perfectly positioned just a few hundred yards from the station and close to both the Royak Mile and Princes Street. The staff we incredibly friendly and made the visit a delight. The rooms were excellent and good value for money. The breakfast was one of the best I have enjoyed in a hotel. There was a wide variety of food and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The dining room was large enough to accommodate a large number of people. We had two children under the age of 8 and they loved the hotel.

This is an amazing place to stay when visiting Edinburgh! It is a literal 3 minute walk from the Waverly rail station, and then 3 mins to the other side is the Royal Mile. Rooms do feel a bit dated, but are well-kept and clean, and the general area feels safe. We traveled as a family with our 9 year old daughter and were out and about freely with no worries. Staff were professional and friendly, kids eat free breakfast once an adult has purchased, and it's well worth the £15 for the full buffet. Would happily stay here again on our next visit!
