Best Western Edinburgh South Braid Hills Hotel

We had a family get together in Edinburgh and decided to stay here lovely hotel great staff and convenient bus stop to city centre will book again

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Braid Hills hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However we were disappointed in the hot breakfast. The first morning we came down to breakfast at 9.05 am and the hot breakfast was non existent. The hot food had not been replenished only black pudding in the tureen which looked like sludge. No croissant or pastries and only a few slices of bread for toasting. Not at all appetising. Our bed mattress had a considerable lapse on one side so we took it in turn to sleep on that side. We always use Best Western when staying in Edinburgh.The Brunstfield is another hotel that we have stayed in and would recommend to family and friends. The location of these hotels are great and although we were disappointed with the Braid Hills for food we would hope that these issues would be rectified as this is a first for us to complain.
