The Macdonald Windsor is in an excellent location next to the castle, shops and restaurants. My friends/family and I have stayed here several times because of the location location and service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, I only wish there were a few more updates and plugs available for devices. Overall we enjoy staying here when in Windsor and will be back.

Hotel accommodated us last minute after a flight cancellation at Heathrow. Staff could not have been more helpful sorting out cot for our baby, directing us to shop to get baby milk, booking return taxi to airport for early morning. We were freezing cold when we arrived at hotel after standing in long taxi queue at Heathrow with our small baby in minus temperatures, so concierge got us heaters to boost temperature in our room

We stayed as a family and had a wonderful stay, the hotel is positioned right in the centre right across from the castle

Our Christmas shopping and a visit to Windsor Castle were beautifully complimented by our stay at this lovely hotel. Only slight downside was the works Xmas party in the bar on our return after a meal and the thumping bass. It looked like the kids were having a good time - most of them were unable to stand at 11pm!

A family night away. Felt this hotel is pet accommodating rather than pet friendly. Outside access not easily navigated or explained. Wi-Fi access in our room was non existent. Staff very helpful and friendly but in hindsight not the place for us.
