Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor

Room was not available at check in time; had to wait until 7:15pm to get our room, which was extremely difficult with my small children who were exhausted from a day spent traveling. They offered us a 50% voucher for food in the meantime, which was fine, but did not help with the children. The hotel was very dated, and there were several active water leaks throughout the hotel, with buckets placed under them. The room had lots of damaged items (broken locks; damaged furniture). Breakfast was really good, which was the only highlight.

Room needed a good scrubbing & walls painted. Shower was difficult to operate. Only the barest of amenities provided & soap bottle needed to be refilled. No mouth wash provided. Self-service breakfast buffet was a nightmare with children having unfettered access to touch all the food. Not hygienic & haven’t seen such a thing outside of UK since pandemic. No bottled water in room & none available. As basic as it could possibly be.

Requested to clean our room but no one do the job... same thing happened to my friend family room.

We had a family room and stayed for one night as we were visiting Legoland the following day. The room was lovely, decent size and nice bedding. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection.

Not really clean at bathroom, found hair on shampoo bottle, the bottle couldn’t take off for kids to use by himself. The water supply was really weak, uncomfortable bath experience here!

On your website it says you don't charge kids for breakfast but I was charged. (The person who charged was training) other than that staff was nice and helpful.

After asking for a quiet room on this are 5th visit to this hotel, we ended up being sandwiched on our one nite there between the most horrendous family’s. Right up until gone mid nite & having been down to reception at first at 10pm & then mid nite when I was v v angry at the noise giving us 0 rest or sleep the reception lady’s on both occasions assured me they would deal with it. Yes they rang the horrendous family & told them to be quiet & then rang my wife to tell her all would be okay now, but no on this horrendous family went with there noise. We put ear plugs in but no nothing helped. So down I went at mid nite and complained again, this time a security chap came I told him my story he said to me we will get this family out & moved again, sir. Back I went to my wife the noise continued for some 5 more mins then a knock at our door & outside 2 new security men who bluntly said to me “but sir the noise has stopped now so sir we will not be moving them out, I explained I had just banged hard at them on there connecting door out of sheer frustration at nothing being done to shut them up! The security guy made me feel “that maybe I was making a fuss over nothing” & said if I hear any noise again just ring reception! My wife said Gary what good will that do twice you have been down & they were not moved or told to go, & those two outside gave the impression “it in some way wasn’t as bad as I had said!” Sunday morning at 6-30am all the noise started up

Very good welcome by the Receptionist. Good range of breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Only slight criticism, is that the hotel offers inter-connecting rooms, whch is great for families hiring two rooms that need to be next to eachother. However, if you only require one room, then the inter-connecting door is locked (good!), but it does mean you can hear your neighbours and vice versa fairly clearly. However, I would return to this hotel as it was comfortable, excellent breakfast and great gym too. Feeling of a proper four star hotel.

The hotel was better than are expectations. We were greated with a balloon and welcome pack for my 5 year old daughter after a day at legoland. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was child friendly.

Used as base for trip to legoland for sons birthday. Pleasantly surprised by child friendliness. Cot in room, warmed milk thru room service, would have got us babysitter although we did not require in the end, swimming pool had lovely shallow end for little ones to play in, children's play area with slide etc. also gym and sauna steam room looked great for adults although sadly didn't get chance to sample! Good continental and full english buffet breakfast, lovely waitresses, very nice evening meal in restaurant and cheaper Toby carvery across the road. Legoland 15 min drive away. Would recommend, and am sure also good for business- although was child friendly, was not overrun with kids by any means. Hope to return.
