Moxy Slough

We stayed as a family with two rooms, 4 adults and two children. Check-in was insistent on ID so had to return to car to fetch it. Apparently there is first come first serve free parking at the hotel (was told after check-in) however could not find this under hotel facilities on email or website. We selected to book breakfasts included to ease the morning rush. Breakfast had a good selection and variety. Some great entertainment options for the children (jenga, table tennis, fussbal) in the downstairs lounge/dining area. We experienced some road noise from the nearby main road and local petrol CHAV’s.

The atmosphere in the hotel is amazing. You are welcomed at a bar, as reception is shared with it. The bar area is very lively, there are games for small kids and grown ups. We played table tennis and table football. The food was more on the comfort side, and I would recommend to have a few healthy options. I would recommend booking breakfast in advance, as it not they will charge almost 60% more on the day.

Great stay, excellent modern hotel enhanced by even better staff. From breakfast to check in they could not do enough for you. I only have two minor issues. Firstly and this has happened at 3 other Moxy hotels. The TV pauses and then streams. Sounds minor but so annoying when enjoying a programme. The second issue was plumbing related. They seem to have a system issue and having used the bathroom in the middle of the night the plumbing roared like a 747 was landing. It only stopped when I turned on a tap. Told reception and they were not surprised. This is an issue as a family member a few rooms down was also woken up. These issues aside I really like the Moxy brand. Friendly, modern and a little quirky. I would stay at the Moxy Slough again. Just sort your plumbing & TVs!

Very good stay for a birthday theatre trip to London. Great hotel & facilities. Friendly & helpful staff. Great for little ones. Trying a bit too hard to be hip. I called the hotel and had to listen to the options twice to make sense of what they were talking about. Strange use of Americanisms.

Stayed here for 1 night, very clean room. Check in was smooth arrived about 2hrs early and they let me check in early as my room was available. They gave me and family one free complimentary drink each. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. 15/20 mins drive to legoland. Breakfast was also good. I definitely recommend 😊

Great value for money, was in a family room with a 3 year old, the room was nice, spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I could have done with an extra pillow on the bed, also housekeeping wasn’t available for extra water bottles at the weekend, the restaurant in the hotel is also closed on a Saturday which was a shame but I’m honestly nitpicking. There is also no parking, we were fortunate enough to find on street parking really near the hotel as we arrived on a Saturday just before 5pm so only paid for 30mins parking which worked well for our overnight stay as Sundays are free but would’ve struggled if we arrived on any other day. I would however definitely book there again.
