Average city stopover place. Lots of tradesmen staying over but not too noisy. Policy about family rooms a little awkward - had to book another room at double cost of original booking, explanation from property not quite same as booking process on expedia

Staff are really helpful and pleasant breakfasts were excellent food not greasy rooms clean just getting a bit tired in places ….. only big minus are the rats using hedges as a rat run coming from the hungry horse resturant next door wouldn’t recommend eating there or letting children play in play area as rats have no fear in the beer garden there under the tables for food any time of day staff not bothered 😕

I had booked family room with a double and single bed. The room was a double and a small sofa only suitable for a child. I complained and was told it was fault of Booking through Hotel.com and the error was theirs. Then given a twin. I moved the beds further apart and the carpet underneath was filthy with dust and biscuit crumbs. The rest of the carpet looked very grubby and poorly vacuumed. The corridor carpets were very stained and run down.

Best decision to stay at Ibis Shipley instead of an hotel in the heart of Bradford as much quicker to get to Haworth, Shibden Hall and the Dales etc. Very comfy bed, clean, spacious family room, lovely self service breakfast with fresh crispy croissants. Staff welcoming, issue with door key card on 3rd night but this was fixed quickly. Would stay again.
