The Corn Mill Lodge Hotel

Had a great, relaxed stay for a couple of nights. The room was spacious with super comfy bed. Fantastic to have full ironing board and iron in the room. Good WiFi connection was a boon as I had to work for a couple of hours. My party checked in very late at just before midnight and had a lovely, warm welcome. Breakfast was a very good offering in an airy, large room. There is an outside terrace and on sight restaurant, though we only had breakfast. All staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. There is ample free parking which offset the need for a Uber into Leeds (£7 in at midday and £16 returning in the evening). This is a family business and I’m pleased to have supported it. I would say that the bathrooms are probably in need of an update and this is where housekeeping needs to pay more attention to maintain high standards. Definitely would be happy to stay again.

We can’t recommend this wonderful hotel enough. The staff make it seem like you are staying in a cosy B&B rather than a hotel. They were like a family, so incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and it’s only £2 for a trip into Leeds and £10 to get a taxi back at night. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again, great city and great hotel. It cost half the price of a central Leeds budget hotel. Amazing value and breakfast is included in the rate over the weekend. We can’t wait to come back and visit again.

The family room was larger than I expected. The room and facilities were clean. I was impressed to find an iron and ironing board too. The staff were also friendly. The only small thing was that one cannot lock the room from inside. I was worried my son may open the door at night while we were sleeping, looking for the toilet.

First time at the Corn Mill Lodge but not the last. We had an amazing experience while in town visiting family. The staff were accommodating and were downright fun and interesting to talk to. Many have been working there for many years and clearly take pride in their hotel. The food in the restaurant is homemade and better than several restaurants we went to in Leeds. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will be back again!

Great place for me to stay as it wasn't far from my family who I was visiting whilst in the Uk. Ladies on Reception were very helpful and welcoming. The young girls working in the Restaurant were very pleasant. Service was excellent. I stayed there for a couple of nights on 2 occasions during my month in the U.k, and both times I had no complaints. Will stay there again.

I stayed here for a work overnighter/seeing family. The hotel is quite old-fashioned, decor from the 1980s. But it was clean and comfortable. There was a large coach party of pensioners in, and I would say that is this hotel's market. The food we had was perfectly fine. The lady on reception was lovely.

We travelled to watch the 20/20 at Headingly and decided to book overnight accommodation for family of four. The Corn Mill lodge was the first hotel to have a family room available on this night. We were given a warm welcome by the ladies on the desk, a lovely family room upstairs, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and free parking in the spacious car park. We returned from our cricket match and had a drink at the bar and then retired to bed. Comfy beds, good bathroom, lovely breakfast. What's not to like. Excellent all round.
