Lovely hotel. Plenty of parking space. Did not like the breakfast set up. Prefer buffet style. Not that many options. Daughter disappointed that no Nuttela available. Went somewhere else for breakfast the next day. Nowhere to get a snack or drink. Just the bar! no vending machines. Nowhere nearby apart from KFC to get snack or drink either. On the plus side, pleasant reception staff, clean, comfy rooms, we had 2 adjoning ones due to family. Nice pool and jacuzzi with towels provided but lockers not secure. No key for them. Had to take a chance when using them which wasn't a comfortable feeling.

It was a very fun hotel and has a pool ans small steam and sauna ans tiny jacuzzi. The spa changing are was basic. The room ans bathroom was modern. The breakfast was reasonable for a 4 star with fried eggs the best bit and mini pastries tucked away in the corner- no queues etc either. On check in and check out lots of towels or bedding littering hallways which didnt make a great 1st impression leading to the room. We came with kids and booked 2 rooms as they are small and i think only do cot beds not rollaways. Very close to station and shopping and the local costa.

Stayed for a long weekend ,meeting friends and family. Good location easy walking distance from town and easy access to surrounding area. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the restaurant, I am Coeliac and Louiza checked with the chef to ensure that my food was all gluten free. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again.

Staffed by kids apart from breakfast time, which was the only pleasant thing about my stay. Rooms at the front are lit up like a Christmas tree and the windows are poorly fitted. So very noisy. Pool cannot fit more than three people in, So if the regulars are in, you've no chance

A convenient location for a family reunion in nearby Wellington. There was a problem with the first room I was allocated but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Reception. Staff are generally pleasant and helpful. The communal areas of the hotel are well maintained and the bedroom was large with good lighting and well presented. The king-size bed reduced access space in the room which could have been a real problem for some guests. The bathroom was a good size but had no hand shower, an impractical hand basin and relatively poor lighting above the mirror. There was no room / cleaning service on the 2nd day of my stay. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had variety but the dining room has a depressing style and needs an update especially to replace tired furniture. Parking for residents whilst inexpensive at £4 per day, could have been included in the room rate. Taken that one gets what one pays for, it was good value but not an hotel which encourages you to want to return.

Ourselves and two friends used this hotel as we were going to a concert at the QEII so thankfully only stayed for one night. We were both allocated rooms beginning with a 7 but it became obvious straight away that this part of the hotel was where immigrants were also staying (we were not aware of this before we arrived). There was a security man on each level and the children were running up and down the corridors. Outside our window the immigrants were playing cricket and we just heard the ball hitting the wall and windows every few seconds. The window in our room did not shut properly and the safe did not work showing error with low battery. We went down to reception and asked to be moved. Steph was very helpful and arranged this for both rooms and we were moved into rooms beginning with a 1. This was in a different part of the hotel which was much quieter and nicer. The rooms are worn and no telephone so you have to use your mobile to ring reception. However the bed was comfy. The foyer and bar area are very nice and a good choice at breakfast. Would we stay again, no as it's definitely not a four star hotel. There are closer hotels to the QEII anyway, Travelodge, Holiday Inn and Premier Inn.
