Park House Hotel

To be honest i paid to stay in a nice hotel for more comfort and peace and quiet it was not worth the £180 for 2 nights i paid for more like £45. In come a local couple with there 3 kids . The kids where very loud playing on there computer games shouting and running around. Then later on when i went back to the bar both parents where drunk 2 more kids joined in football gear playing football un the bar area with the ball hitting me when i was trying to eat the Asian gentleman who worked behind the bar new them by name and the pearants the kids were running behind the bar giving him a cuddle not one time did he ask them to calm down. My food when served was cold on one occasion and so was others who complained. The excuse was well we have a wedding going on in that case i said close the restaurant. But the same happened the following night cold food but no wedding that night. MY BED i went to bed but my mattress in room 8 was completely knackered it was like being in hospital with my feet raised as the bottom half of the mattress was fine the top squash down to about 2 inches hence my legs in the air . I woke up about 2 in the morning my back was killing mevi got up stripped the bed turned the mattress around then all was fine. The staff on the front desks where very nice

The room did it's job. It was basic but clean enough and quiet. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Check in was easy. It was a perfect locatio for visiting family. Loads to do in the area. Room just needed a bit of tlc. Broken taps, shower only 1 temp and everything a bit dated. Overall, what we expected for the price we paid.
