It was a nice hotel but was confused to discover the pool was next door and I had to pay extra for it. I searched for 'hotels with a pool' and the International came up. Luckily the lovely lady on the desk explained we could use the pool next door but it was at extra £16 for me to go with my children. There was a good complimentary breakfast, it was a very clean hotel with an excellent bathroom! Telly didnt work (only showed bbc 1 and 2) and the internet was down so we didn't get the relaxing lie in we hoped for with two young children bored in the morning from 6am! Very noisy event next door until late also.

Great location, easy to find and lots of parking. Quick and easy check in with a very friendly member of staff. Walking distance (10 mins) to shops and restaurants. We had a twin room with 2 double beds for 2 adults and 1 child which was perfect. The room and bathroom were a good size, and I’d requested a quiet room which was facilitated. Beds and pillows very comfy! But no plug switches next to the beds. The breakfast is a bit odd in that there is bacon and beans, but no other hot food. But we didn’t have an issue with it, and for less than £100 for B&B for 3 of us I’m certainly not going to complain! My only gripe is with the bathroom. The water pressure and temperature was great, and plenty of storage. However the shower doesn’t have a door, and the angle of the shower head means it’s impossible to have a shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. Also there didn’t seem to be an extractor fan so it soon filled with steam! Other than that we had a good stay, and would use the hotel again if we’re in the area.

Nice spot for an overnight stay. Ten minute walk to a lovely park with loads of things for kids to do. Hotel was clean with friendly staff and a nice selection for continental breakfast in the morning.

We stayed here for a night for our 6 year old and our 2 year old who is plane obsessed; so we could visit RAF Cosford museum. The hotel in itself was fantastic, breakfast was very basic but couldn’t complain. The surround area is beautiful with the shopping centre within walking distance and a gorgeous woodland park area with play areas for the kids. The staff were fantastic..we checked out only to realise after reaching our destination that my partner had left his air up bottle on the window in the hotel room. A short phone call later and it was found and left with reception staff for us to pick up after our day trip. Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again!

I stayed one night as I have friends and family in the area. Hotel was clean the bedroom was just right clean and comfortable. My Only gripe was there wasn't a choice of decaffeinated tea and I had to ask for decaf coffee when in the dinning room for breakfast. All said and done I enjoyed my stay and would have no hesitation in booking in the future, ps but I might bring my own decaf in future,

Felt cheated as although we expected to pay for the twin room we had booked we had an illness in the family and ended up just needing a double room. The room we had overlooked a car park, the shower tail was broken. The toilet moved on the wall and the whole room just felt dated. We stayed two nights but had we had more energy would have driven four hours to get home. Breakfast and staff were great though.

Hotel was busy, unfortunately I was located close to a dysfunctional family - confrontatioons, shouting, swearing, phones going, door knocking all night, until approx. 5.30 am, Just unbelievable. The onus was put on me to complain to night staff - who MUST have been aware but did NOT do ANYTHING to stop the offenders - obviously worried about confrontation (I don't blame them but, they have a job to do. this left me in a less than ideal condition for my next days work, from 08.00 - 24.00. Thank goodness the hotel was then empty on the Sunday night.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. Cleanliness of the room was completely absent and unacceptable. No change of towels for the family and the shower space is discomforting. It’ll be good to have some glass door for the shower. The suck away is slow and you’ll have to lower the pressure of the shower taps to prevent flooding. More room for improvement… Breakfast must be improved. Poor…!

We stayed for a conference and an extra night after to visit family nearby. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy, the twin room was spacious and clean and beds comfortable. Internet connection was decent and plenty of plugs in the room. Breakfast was a great continental selection with all the usual plus bacon sandiwches and beans, tea and coffee and was all you can eat. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient and they allowed us to leave the car after check out in order to explore the local area. The parks, zoo and shopping area are all a short walk away. We did have an issue in the bathroom door handle screws has worked their way out, it happens, but they fixed it immediately. In all excellent hotel and we will be staying again for the conference next year. All the staff went above and beyond with every question or request.
