Ive stayed at lots of holiday inns and this is not 1 id visit again room so small we couldnt even access the kettle without moving a heavy bed no room to move around the room as a family of 4 the space was a joke. Breakfast although included in the room price was awful all under cooked slimey eggs white bacon white sausages no fruit or yougarts all unhealthy options very limited choice compared to every other ive stayed in and breakfast was a complete mess watered down juices to the point they didnt taste of juice coffee that tasted like the water hadnt been changed 4 a week just nasty. Staff where not rude but extremely unhelpful when needed even 4 simple requests like timings and food requests ordered food in the evening after a 6 hour drive to have to send it back due to it being cold and not what was advertised just a very poor experience as i no how good holiday inns can be and went out of my way to book one for this reason.

OK for an overnight stay. The room was quiet despite there being a large party of youngsters in the hotel. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. My only qualm would be with having to pay a parking charge

We stayed in a 'family' room, which was just like a normal sized room with a pull-out sofa bed, that made the room feel really cramped. The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable and the room was quite stuffy (the room temp could only be set to a minimum of 19 degrees). On the plus side, the room was clean and tidy and the included breakfast was very tasty. Overall, the hotel was in a convenient location for the purpose of our trip but wasn't very comfortable.

We had a family room which was great for an overnight stay and with the complimentary breakfast was really good value for money.

Stayed here to break a long drive on Christmas Evening - 1 adult and 3 children. We got a lovely welcome from reception, and they had already got a room ready with sofa bed in the short time from booking to arrival. Beds were good and comfy. At breakfast there was a guest/group of guests who were making some difficulties for the staff, and we were asked to move by the management whilst they dealt with it. The manager and his team were lovely, and despite the behaviour of the family they looked after us really well. Breakfast was a nice surprise with a great selection of hot and cold food. Overall great value, and a nice stay. Thanks to the manager we met and his team for making our safety a priority in a difficult situation which wasn’t in their control.

Sick broken in the room. Unable to remove the plug. Mentioned this at reception when checking out. No apology given. Rooms were very noisey. Could hear children running up and down the corridor. Woke us several times in the night due to noise from people in the adjoining rooms. Sofa bed very uncomfortable for my son

While the room was fine and clean, breakfast was a terrible experience. We stood for about five minutes at the desk waiting to be seated and we were shoved into the reserve area as no tables in the main restaurant were available or clean; there were no plates to put your food on… and it took around another five mins for some - four - to finally come out; the food trays were not being refilled and most of it was cold; there was barely any juice; the pancake machine broke down; barely any fruit available; the staff were unhelpful and one even had the nerve to comment that ‘there was too much food’ out, which was an utter joke. As one fellow diner said, it was a shambles… and some even left in disgust. We will not be booking there again… especially for £144 a night. As a treat for our children, it was a huge disappointment and spoilt the stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked a double with a sofa bed & travel cot unfortunately when you put up the travel cot there was no room I went to receptionist & explained & she replied I was in the biggest room & to get on with it. I showed her the email stating what / who was in the room. We stayed 1 night this is not great for families doing Alton towers
