The hotel overall is good but I would not stay here again as I found their swimming pool disappointing. It was the main reason for staying there with the family. It’s not clear on their website it just saying open until 9pm. Turned up at 8pm after long drive to hotel and they told the children (aged 11 and 14 with advanced swimming/racing skills) they could have 10 discretionary minutes as it was adults only. On Saturday morning we wanted to go for a swim. Got down there and the pool was closed from 10am until midday for toddler swimming lessons. Not happy. Hotel should not have extra star if the pool isn’t available to paying guests! We gave up using their swimming pool facilities. Changing rooms were not clean either but if you don’t swim or gym the hotel is fine.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights on the AltonTowers trip in 2023. We was so amazed with the service we booked again for the 2024 trip. Again the service is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and will almost do anything for you to make your stay more enjoyable. The swimming pool great to relax in after using the Steam Room / Sauna. This just adds more to your stay. We have yet to try the gym as the sauna zapped me of energy. Maybe next time The Breakfast was great, however dont think my body thanked me for it. Extra bacon and sausages just cant say no The Restaurant was agin fantastic with a great selection of food. This along with a nice cold refreshing pint of local ale hits the spot perfectly. The Room was great X2 Queen Beds for myself and Daughters. The Beds are so comfortable and both my Daughters didnt want to get up. The Bathroom lovely and high water pressure makes you feeling great after a hot shower. The Hotel is placed nicly next to WaterWorld and if you have a family higly recommend this place. Its great fun and once your done back to the Hotel and sample them Ale again. Myself and Daughters cant find a fault with this place and highly recommend if your doing the AltonTowers or any trip for a stay over... you will be happy you did. A massive thanks to the Staff you all deserve a pat on the back. 2025 will book this again maybe longer stay this time.

We requested 2 cots and phoned up to confirm and was moved to a cheaper room because 2 cots wouldn’t fit in our room we had booked. Even though I was told they was the same size rooms but a sofa bed instead of a queen bed. It was all confirmed so after a long day travelling and 2 tired young children we showed up and went to the room to find no cots. I went straight to reception who told me due to the large wedding they had run out of cots and that somebody should have phoned me up. I told them I had rang up to to confirm everything and even been moved rooms. The lady said she would have to go argos and get some. But wouldn’t take long less then 30 mins . Bear in mind it was already 18:45 but all good it was being resolved we could get kids ready for bed and then straight to bed. 30mins has gone I go down to reception the lady is still there. I didn’t say anything in case someone else had gone out. I went back down 25 mins later she was telling someone she had to go out. Another 25 mins later she knocked on our door with cots from another hotel telling us that the shop was shut. By this point the children was over tired and 1 wouldn’t stop crying. It took us another hour to get them both to sleep. Terrible experience. To top it off the hotel has no aircon just 2 very cheap and unpowerful fans in the room meaning it was 27degrees in the room Needless to say for the cost and a Hilton chain of hotels it was all a joke and a premier inn would have been nicer and cheaper

Team was welcoming and professional. Fold out bed was really not comfortable. And the standard bed was ok but nothing amazing. The pillows although looking nice and big, just deflating when your head made contact and offered absolutely no support. At the restaurant for dinner, the team once again really welcoming. My daughter is dairy free and had loads of choice in the kid menu. I am gluten free and again lot of choice. Food was ok, but that is it, not nice, just ok, which made it feel quite overpriced. The server also kept getting confused on who was gluten free, and although we corrected him a couple of time, he still brought my husband a gluten free burger and then explained it was to avoid 'cross contamination' but my daughter's burger was a normal bun, so that was just a bad excuse to not own up to the mistake made. The leisure pool was big enough for the toddler to play in but not big enough to swim, you also have to book a slot. Breakfast was good, just really busy but they had a wedding the previous night so that would explain it.

Great hotel for stop over near Alton towers. Good value for money £135 b&b for family of 3. Within walking distance of other eating establishments & water world literally next door. Breakfast decent. Reception staff friendly & helpful. Leisure staff need to be more on the ball though, no mention of towels, i had to ask & also never mentioned how the lockers operate (i.e need a padlock, which can be obtained by handing in room key), a nice lady told me in the changing room. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. We would return & recommend.
