The staff were very helpful and have accommodated our room request. The rooms were clean and there were extra amenities that we didn't expect but are thankful for. The breakfast was good, the kids love the pancake maker.

Night staff left us waiting to checkin and then sent us to the wrong room. With two small children this wasnt a great experience. Room was clean but shower falling off the wall and showing its age. We used the pool which eas great, however pools showers didnt not work except one but only with cold water. At breakfast there was only two staff and they couldnt keep up with the volume of guests so tables were left dirty for a long time, queues of guests waiting, food kept running out. No hotel parking, whichbwe knew about, but the wall through that part of Reading in the evening was grim and long to the nearest car park. Wouldnt really recomment and wont be staying again I'm afraid.

Sadly having no parking was not great but we parked in a car park 10 minutes away. Swimming pool was nice and not too busy but has strong chlorine. Great breakfast, kids loved the choices and there was a lot of choice. Location was good for shops

Super central in Reading... Clean, well-equipped. Lovely little pool and sauna area with pool/gym towels - all free for guests - great to keep the little ones occupied on a rainy day. Parking at the hotel's car park itself is costly at £19/night but they can validate some local multi-story car parks within 7-8 mins walk so not paying more than £7-8. Can also use the hotel car park to drop off luggage but it does take a little while to make your way in.

We had a very stressful journey to the hotel and had difficulty finding it as there is construction all around the back of the building. On the website and hotels.com it said there was parking on-site. However, when we arrived the car park was closed with nobody answering the buzzer or the phone when I tried calling. Luckily my husband found an employee who said the car park was closed but we could park for a while to get the children and luggage unloaded - thank goodness. My husband then had to park and walk 10 mins back to the hotel. He said it was quite rough and he felt unsafe at times (it was 8pm, dark and there were a lot of unfriendly groups of people, he was glad I hadn't gone to park the car!) The swimming pool and breakfast was lovely though and cheered us all up.

The air conditioning was bad, the staff didn’t open our sofa bed even if we pre-booked that we have a child with us. Also, we had to get everything we needed from the lobby from the toiletries, bedroom slippers, towels and etc. Cleanliness of the sheets need a big improvement as they all appear to have not been laundried.
