We were in Plymouth for a family funeral. This hotel was very conveniently situated, and we felt very comfortable staying there.

1. the receptionist was so nice .we ready couldn't have had a better welcome . We had travelled from london with a 4mth old baby so were really greatful for such a quick and smooth check in. 2. the room was spotless and although the bathroom was the same the only thing i would say is the bathroom is quite tired in need of fresh decor. Water was lovely and hot from bath taps but the shower practically had zero pressure. 3. With the size of the bed room and distances from the bed the tvs could do with being alot bigger . Our daughters was smaller than ours and should be hung on the wall. 4. For a free breakfast we were very happy .pastries, fruit salad .a fryup amoung the choices . All staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again . As having 2 of our girls living here we will be back .

We stayed for a long weekend at this hotel while visiting family in Plymouth. It is conveniently situated in walking distance of the station and city centre. The hotel is clean. The rooms are dated but perfectly adequate and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and Marita is a friendly host at that meal. We also had a lovely evening meal in the brasserie. We parked in the adjacent Sainsbury’s car park which was very convenient. All in all good value for money.

Very disappointed with the thin walls of the actual hotel room. We could hear actual conversations and more during the night with the bed bamging against the wall when trying to sleep. Not pleasant especially when you have kids. This was the club room as well which was an upgraded room compared to the normal room.

All staff very friendly & helpful, hotel clean. On arrival my booking was not in the system, this delayed checkin by about 25mins by which time although the staff could see the booking on expedia it still had not come through to Copthorne so they allocated me a room through another booking. The room itself although clean was very dated and there was a very loud humming noise above the room as though every air conditioning unit in the hotel was literally place just above the ceiling. Also the fridge in the room was so loud I had to get up in the middle of the night and unplug it. They only had twin room availability but honestly the size of the bed was more fit for children, very narrow, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Hardly slept between the noise and the discomfort.

Really helpful staff especially the guy from Sri Lanka who helped my sister with sorting out children’s bed.

I liked that the hotel was close to the station and so it was convenient for my stay. However I did feel the staff should think when they place a group of young party loving people close to a grandmother and child. We didn't get any sleep whatsoever on Saturday night the 22 October because of the noise coming from the room next door. This spoiled our stay in Plymouth.

Booked a room for myself and my toddler. The room was not child safe. There was a gap behind the tv where my toddler got stuck when I was in the bathroom. The room itself seems like it hasn’t been remodeled in two decades and the bathroom was in terrible condition. Floor was dirty and had hair from previous occupant. The shower curtain was stained and the sink had mold. The hallway was also a bit loud and the room doors mostly all slammed shut which woke us up several times. Worst hotel experience I ever had.
