We booked a Junior Suite for our family, which was perfect besides not having a bath. A travel cot was provided for our toddler and we made the most of our access to the swimming pool. Breakfast was lovely, with enough choice for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a junior suite for a family wedding nearby; was hoping for basic but comfortable but doesn't quite get there. Had a pretty sleepless night Good King bed was comfortable Nice bar Decent breakfast Pool/gym excellent Bad Room was a sauna, two fans provided running full time made little difference Second bed was a 3/4 sofa bed with a terrible mattress that squeaked very very loudly with every movement Sleep was nonexistent for half our family

The staff at The Beeches were very friendly and accommodating. There was also nothing to fault with the plentiful breakfast. However, unfortunately, the rooms were unbearably hot with neither air conditioning nor fans; this was a shame as it led to our family not having good quality sleep despite the comfortable beds. Opening the windows did not help. The cleaning quality could also be improved. While the bedroom was clean, we found black around a plug hole, there were stains in a toilet bowl, and a lot of limescale in the kettle. For these reasons, we probably wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

I was just at The Beeches for one night, wish it could have been longer. Super comfortable room with queen bed. Room and bathroom immaculately clean. I asked for extra milk and shampoo, they were delivered within 5 minutes. Used the gym - great range of kit. The spa is small, and parents do need to keep small children under control so as not to spoil the experience for other guests. Sauna nice and hot, jacuzzi warm, pool bracing. Clean changing rooms, but take your body wash in with you. Good hearty English breakfast buffet, fresh hot food kept coming. Tables cleared and cleaned swiftly. Really excellent value for a hotel with spa. Staff friendly and attentive. Nice bar. Oh, and free car park which is a real bonus. Others charge £15 a night!
