We booked 3 rooms for a family trip. Our room was awful.Toilet didn’t flush and the bathroom ceiling and rest of it was simply terrible. Mould and peeling paint. More like a dodgy pub toilet or … Not a 4 star hotel room. Blind in bedroom didn’t work. Cigarette burn on net curtain and damage to walls. There were cobwebs. Dirt on towel. Only saving grace is reception changed the room when I asked to be moved and second room was acceptable. . But they should not be renting rooms of such a poor standard in the first place:

Checked in at 4:30pm, the reception was welcoming but the rest of the hotel was upside down and the hallway was literally like an obstacle course of bin bags, cans, cleaning equipment strewn on the floor. Had to move a Henry hoovers to get my suitcase to my room. I’d booked a bigger room and it was nothing like the images and didn’t feel clean. They tried to theme this room but it felt bare and cheap for boutique hotel. Nothing matched. My family members checked in two room down at 7pm and they had to move their room as it was completely dirty. The carpet was wet with alcohol, toiletries left in the bathroom
